I'm not actually sure what we're waiting for now. Alexander to make his move and someone to tell the NPCs what to do (which BMM laid out pretty well), I guess.

Move one up, then all will be well. Olison is a space down and to the west of Sal, Sal is where he is, so if you take that spot the wall will be brought back but without the possibility of magical crumbling. This turn at least.
