So really, what are we doing here again? There's a disturbing number of enemies to the east, and Ernest and crew are almost cleaned up, but we really don't want to underestimate something like that and end with Ernest chain-shanking everyone too far away for us to reach them.

Well, healing Charlotte, for one. Though hardly useful at the moment, she's about to permadie.

Again: one floating proposition is to double back around and take the upper path toward the exit. We'd miss a minimum of one loot object, but we'd also dodge the infinite sea of horrible Priximercs.

Well, Tantallos or Ami can heal Charlotte this turn (I suggest Ami do it since we need Tantallos use his ranged magic on either the swordmaster or Ernest).

Hopefully, we can take him down this turn and then we can turn our attention to those reinforcements and those rogues.

EDIT: Oh, I just got a good idea! I can cast sharpness now, which adds +30 to hit for 1 turn. I could cast that on someone (Tantallos maybe?) and they can finish off Ernest this round! Probably... What do you think?

That might work. It would have to be someone who will deal enough damage to finish the job, though.

On the bright side, there aren't a lot of people to choose from.  Ernest has 17 HP, so...

Tantallos (Worm): 15+2 damage, 90% chance to hit
Riven (Flux): 17 damage, 82% chance to hit

Your pick.  I'm thinking about falling back to take out the rogues quick.  I'm a little worried about leaving Chris at 3 while both Marpa and Derick are at less than half HP, and moving to deal with the rogues also means that I can't support Derick with those lovely lovely hit/crit/evade boosts.  If I revive Chris this turn, it gives us a margin for safety, lets them unlock the door for us, but reduces our margin of error on dealing with the rogues next turn. 

Also, don't forget that we could ask Mannan to heal Charlotte.  Death counters decrement at the start of the next player phase, or rather, after the allied phase.  He can also reach Chris to heal him, it seems, which would free me to either deal with the rogues or heal the only people keeping a horde of very zealous mercs from swamping us.

I like the Sharpness/drop Ernest plan, though. Once he's down the other swordmaster is more a nuisance than a danger, and we can work on grinding through these Priximercs.

I disapprove of leaving loot behind, although... I'm actually a little curious what could be in there that'd be worthwhile at this point.

Honestly, I am, too.  I just thought I'd suggest it as a possibility.  So, we'll trust Chris to Mannan, then.  ^_^

Mystery legendary weapons; swords, lances, axes, or bows.  I'd kinda like a tome that isn't either from Chapter 3 or about to run out, myself, but honestly, I'm one-shotting almost anything in my path even with the Thunder, so it'd kinda be icing more than anything...

Yeah, I agree with leaving me to Mannan. It is FAR more important to get Charlotte up with that counter so low. I can still hang on for two more turns, if absolutely need be.
