Consider this: Gregor and Derick have a duel with same quality weapons (Iron, for example) and in neutral conditions (no terrain, supports and so on). On whom you would bet?

Derick the Swordmaster of Doom
Gregor the Tanky Stab-Sentinel

I said I'd hold out by myself, and so shall I do so. I can take all these guys on.
Fate: officially tempted.  Crithax: engaged.

Honestly, that's nearly as bad as saying there's no such thing as a jinx.

Ah.  If it's annoying, I'll avoid that joke in the future.  Sorry.

So... thinking about joining up, mainly considering whether I have the dedication to keep pace with it.

Assuming the answer is yes, any suggestions or advice on character creation? Was leaning towards a shaman even though you have one already (dark magic looks so awesome), but I haven't been able to figure out what exactly everyone is or does, nor have I read enough to have seen everyone in action.

We've got one healer, one shaman, several lance units, one axe units, many sword units, and one bow unit. I would suggest playing a magic class, since we're rather lean there, though I don't know that I'd suggest another shaman.

Either cavalry or a bandit, since we have enough magics.

Well, it would be if we replaced the shaman with a regular mage :3

Leaning towards a +1 here. We have enough spears and swords for sure, and we cover two of the three magic classes (plus a healer) once Culise's character joins up.

I suppose we could use a bard or dancer, for buffs/extra turns.

Actually, I just checked back and we are getting another mage already. Hm. Never mind.
Also Powder Miner is going to play a Knight, I think?

Pirates are cool.

The way this battle went, I would suggest another healer.
I don't have infinite healing items after all.

...THIIIIIIIS. THIS SO VERY MUCH. Preferably bard :P

EDIT: Emral, I'd say we don't need another healer as so much you lot need to pick your act up in regards to strategy.
