Hey, people tend to continue to use a method they see that works. When you got a hammer that works, all problems become nails and all that.

But yeah, we should probably see to relinquishing our old crap and getting better stuff.

We have two staves, two vulns, and an antidote in storage. We should sell everything we can't carry, but we can probably carry all of that.

Not that bringing the antidote or the antidote staff is likely worthwhile...

At this stage, poison becomes an annoyance instead of a killer. Mostly because its damage doesn't scale, taking six possible damage when you have twenty some health is terrible. Not so much if you got forty or fifty though. Still not good, but not likely something to overly worry you, and something that can be fixed rather quickly.

I think restore fixes poison anyway, so why bother if we know we're going to nab a restore?

We should probably think about ditching single use vulns, they don't heal enough and eat too much space to be useful. Single use concoctions are another deal though, they heal a modest amount and aren't exactly cheap.

Yup. Better carry restore, not only because of poison, there is also the problem of those other debuffs like berserk.

I do wonder though, when is Powder gonna make Alex use the talisman? He's had it since the last time we were in Fezzan. :v

Haspen's right. Riven's carrying arround a Flux for no reason, as an example. We should pack our inventories as full with items as humanly possible.

We won't get any useful funds from selling the one use vulnerary, so putting it into an empty slot can't hurt. Especially considering it can forestall death.

I do wonder though, when is Powder gonna make Alex use the talisman? He's had it since the last time we were in Fezzan. :v

Yeah, it's kinda funny, I don't think anyone ever explicitly stated it was in his inventory.

Eh, we all forget stuff, trust me; I've forgotten much, much worse before. It's more hilarious than anything really, I'd just use it now and be done with it so it doesn't eat a turn in the upcoming fight.

Was just about to say, I'm trying it out and here's how it's going.

-I think I'm terrible at this.
-I hate stone giants because they won't recoil from being shot like respectable monsters.
--I hate jellyfish too because of this. That and they go through land why there is no peace from their horror!
-On the hardest difficulty
--I'm not actually sure what the difference is, does it get harder faster?
-Why are there so many of these damn stone assholes
--Clear a platform, more show up. Kill them, more show up. Contemplate killing these new guys, decided 'nah.'
--Seriously, why are those stone guys everywhere
--They never hit me at least

I'm in the middle of my second attempt, me having died very quickly the first go around due to learning the horrors of fall damage.

I'd be willing to try playing with yah, but take note that I'm utterly terrible and get the controls mixed up at times.

I haven't touched hard mode yet, so I dunno. I was going to go for it once the only thing I had left to unlock was the item you get for beating Monsoon as the Mercenary. Anyway, just wait until you have some more characters unlocked. The Commando is pretty good, but you'll probably like some of the other nine better. ^^^ If you're having trouble with the controls, you could use a 360 controller. I do. >.>  Anyway, if you want to host let me know and I'll jump right on.

@Sirus: You know, CE says it's possible that up to six people can play at a time. I'm just saying. :3
