Bio: The youngest son of a Mercian town carpenter, Sterling didn't feel that the (relatively) uneventful urban life was for him. There just wasn't much he could do to help people.
So he scraped together some money earned as an apprentice to the local coppersmith, he bought himself some basic equipment and set out, hoping to find and assist people in need.
Eventually he joined a certain group of Mercenaries, knowing that strength in numbers and an income are a vital aspect to life.

Charlotte is the firstborn daughter of a peasant family. She has bright red hair and a coy smile.
Ever since three years ago, the threat of invasion from a powerful kingdom has loomed over her peasant town. She took up a bow in case her fears ever became a reality, but she never worked that hard at it, letting others do the hard training for her.
Some months ago, though, Charlotte caught a whiff of smoke welling up from the far end of town. She crept outside at the crack of dawn only to see the fog-covered shadows of horseback assailants marching toward her. She managed to escape with her life, running deep into a nearby forest where she learned to forage and fend for herself. However, she sought out adventurers and heroes that she could band with, knowing that alone she was practically defenseless.

Added 'player listing' to the first post as well; currently only usernames, classe and PC names, so I know who is already interested. People with PC sheets take priority over those without.

I like this. Also, my background doesn't really mesh well with the starting group stuff, so I think instead of starting with them I'll be one of those characters who joins in from the side of the map after several turns.

Unless you guys want otherwise, I will use 'simplified' affinity table: Fire, Thunder, Wind, Ice, Light, Darkness, Anima. (The full table also have Water, Heaven and Earth)

Sure. I think I will do a split; 4 PC's as Mercenaries, 4 PC's as add-ons (Duchess' soldiers or something)
