Consider this: Gregor and Derick have a duel with same quality weapons (Iron, for example) and in neutral conditions (no terrain, supports and so on). On whom you would bet?

Derick the Swordmaster of Doom
Gregor the Tanky Stab-Sentinel

I thought Gregor wasn't proposing to Charlotte yet. :P You can still hang out and talk with the rest of us without pressing the subject.
He's not, but if the subject comes up it might be difficult to get out of without hurting someone's feelings.

Buuut what's wrong with things being obviously up? It's still RP.
Anyway, prepare for gratuitous usage of Alex's blush sprite.
Put yourself in Gregor's shoes for a moment. You walk back in just after rushing out. Someone without a lot of tact (say, Tantallos) then says (out loud):

"Hey sentinel guy, why'd you run out of the room just as sniper girl walked in? Are you trying to avoid her or something?"

Then what do you say?

"I was just picking her a giant bouquet of flowers as a representation of my undying love. But on my way in, an evil Light Mage turned them invisible. Here, Tantallos, I know you can fix it if you try hard enough!"
Lulz.

Yeah, alright. I'm parked for the night and have nothing else to do. Might as well try to have some fun :P

If the subject comes up, Gregor can just answer Charlotte quietly but honestly: "yeah, I wanna, but I don't want to propose right now 'cause Chris & Ami.' Pretty sure she would understand. :P

Bringing up the guy who has to work in RP time, that's cruel guys hahaha. Thankfully my more intensive work (that which is due the soonest) is done so I can sorta-post here now.

Gamer is away and I could not think of anything else Valor would do (rip into Alex for his obliviousness with the ladies? That would be so far out of character I wouldn't be able to see character with a nice set of binoculars), so this was it.

Also, I think I should go to bed soon because I typed that.

I would be more worried about a public shameing than a quiet conversation, to be honest. Charlotte asking in private is one thing. Someone else going "Hey Gregor, what's the deal with you and her?" out loud would be a little more tricky :P

True, true. Not sure who would ask, though. :P It seems like most of the characters acknowledge each other's relationships but don't really pry. I only had Chris say something to Alex because A: he's the only person really that likely to do so and B: I wanted to get Powder moving on this A x A ship. :P

Well, Tantallos has outright said something about it before (something along the lines of "you're moving too slow, she will go somewhere else"), and he and Riven both engaged in teasing Valor some. It could happen again :P

But yeah, Anjaxander is the latest OTP. Bout time the poor girl managed to get a little affection back.

Of course, over in FEF2, it's going to be nothing but backstabbing and meddling all the way.

Sure, sure, just have some of this delicious 'not knifes' pie I made first.

Go on.

So you're basically saying FEF1 is like High School Musical and FEF2 is like The Young And The Restless? :P

To be fair, I do have an IC reason for Grifen to pursue support ranks with Leo, though obviously those reasons won't come up until they actually meet. Whether anything romantic comes out of those reasons, only the future can tell.

I tried, but it has a big ol' butcher knife sticking out of the top. Kinda dangerous, and I think you failed to understand that not-knife pie tends to not have knives.

I've seen neither, so I dunno?

I'm just saying, the love politics seem, for one thing, a little more proactive in FEF2, and we seem to have one conflict of interest already. With Candy seducting people on top of that, it seems like there's a lot of potential for hurt feelings and less chance of the nice squeaky clean romances we've ended up with in FEF.

Note to self: Conceal knife more discreetly on follow up attempts.

I think it has something to do with the fact that (OOC at least) every girl in FEF2 wants a piece of Leo :P
