*get out book* It a rule patch to stop people saving their pawns by jumping be on the catch range of another pawn. E.G. Remuthra can catch your piece not you catching his.

Yes, I looked it up and I was wrong. Pardon me, I've only really played with my family, and that's the way we played. GWG, I did not capture Remuthra's piece, instead have an example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/En_passant

So yeah, he can take mine with relative ease. Pardon for the inconvenience.
