It was pretty nice. and yes, we have at least 1 crazy GM and another crazy party member, not to mention certain kobold antics...

You DID shout "bandits", got out a combat map, and told us to position ourselves ! What were we supposed to do, have tea and a nice chat with them ?

Besides, I was certainly not the first one who attacked. My character did merely down mutagen as a preventive measure if the bandits attacked, and it was certainly not meant as a provocation in any way.

although in all fairness he did not know they were hostile or not, and I should have rolled a Sense Motive beforehand to determine their intentions.

Edit: Oh, you're referring to the wrecker curse. Ha, no, that's fluff text that was discussed with the DM and modified to synergise with the character for primal magic to replace abyssal.

Even then, just because something has been touched by the abyssal does not automatically mean "Oh em gee you are teh evilz"
