I gave up on hanging out with a lady friend for DnD session. They deserve to watch us brag about that magic amulet we looted.

DnD is 4-8 hours out of 168 in a week.  Ladyfriend can wait until tomorrow, or come over for a totally platonic sleepover.

I seem to have had an oversight in weapons. My greatsword does 2d6 damage, not 1d10.

also when I will get martial weapon proficiency, there are plenty of nice exotic weapons that I treat as martial, since I'm a dwarf. I intend to carry 3 two-handed weapons eventually.

Yup. One in the mouth, and one in each hand. With rage and bull's strength i will be around 22 str, which should be more than enough.

now I really want the Ferocity and Tactics subdomains of Strength and War... but I guess it's too late for that.

actually I should just have taken Strength(Ferocity) and Destruction(Rage) for maximum damage bonuses and maximum overlap with barbarian levels.

Probably not gonna be an 8-hour.  Unless we just want to punish Kieren and Farson as you guys chain-raid dungeons and next week they walk in to find you with crows (tilted jauntly), encrusted mugs (filled justly), and coinpurses bursted by the weight of twenty dragons' hordes.

You will, that's the point.  If we're going to have half our party down, the other half would be unfair to run plot lines.  So I'm gonna throw them into side-quests and loot gathering.  They're gonna get a bit more gold than you.

Now, to start designing a Wanted Board for the tavern...

I'm happy with it, after all it's more fighting, gold, XP and roleplaying opportunities.

You can always give half or even full XP to the rest of the party, or we can have a collective XP pool. This way there's no, or less, disparity.

Yes, it doesn't make any sense (I kinda do get all WTF when I play a rpg that has a shared XP, like NWN2 or KOTOR2) but it's still better than getting no XP.

If I remember correctly, dragon age 2 uses a median between the two.
You don't share 100% of the gained xp with unused party members, but there's an hard limit to the deviation, the unused ones are ensured to not fall behind by much.

I always thought that was a clever system.
We need to come up with an equation for that to work on our party's leveling system. :3
