Fighters are lots of fun, you're just not playing them right.  If you're a fighter with an axe, or a bastard sword or something, you may as well just be a barbarian.  Fighters are for picking crazy weapons, like spiked chains and double swords.

Pending the time at which the time for sessions is decided and it's not viable for me, I'll be keeping an eye on this.
And also making a character. If I make a fighter, can I take exotic weapon proficiency for spiked-chain meteor shortswordhammer? I'll figure out how to make the numbers combine and can assume 75gp cost for getting it custom made, based on the cost of each weapon and then a bit.

EDIT: Figured it out as 1d6 with +2d4 damage if at less than 16ft range, but with -2 to hit if at less than 16ft(-1 because exotic weapon proficiency).

So, I was creating my character but I don't know what you guys are going to be. It's no fun when half of the party is a bard or a divine-focused cleric. I'm thinking about playing a half-elf chaotic neutral barbarian. Half-elves get +2 to one ability score depending on the player's choice during creation right?

Because I want to know how much food I need to pack.

greatorder is coming prepared I see!  I commend you on your waterproof bullseye lantern, that's actually a smart buy.  Even if you never need it underwater, that's smart thinking.  Same with cold weather outfit.  The only thing I would suggest, is less rations and some firewood, lamp oil, and a flint and steel or some alchemical fire-sticks.  for now the usual distances are going to be 1-2 days between towns, but you may end up camping for a while, if you're into that.

Also I forgot to mention before, the 10gp civilian clothing is meant for clothing.  If you spend that on armor, then this is your ONLY set of clothes.  So you'll be walking around the marketplace and sitting in the tavern in armor.  And sleeping in armor or nude, depending on how badly the party wants you to buy your own tent so they don't have to stare at your ass all night in terror.
