besides, if we start to roleplay a bit too much our nights this will go out of the window quickly. Yes, grapple rolls are fun, but we don't get XP for it.

Why would grappling ruin the game?

For that matter, what does it matter if it does?  The whole point is fun.  If you're having a fun RP then it's a night well spent.

I have high hopes for the roleplaying possibilities in our team.
We don't really know each other (IC) at the moment, so any roleplay we engage as of this moment is.. very shallow.
Give some moments, start building up relationship, and roleplay would start becoming amazingly deep and full of interactions.

Agreed. I didn't have enough time to make fun of the halfling and the kobold, not only because I didn't have the chance, mostly because I had to cooperate and form a party. Now my character will be more respectful towards everybody if we manage to bring the goblin fort down, but we will still have our moments.

If you guys are available at any other time I could try to set up a twice-weekly routine.  There's 7 schedules here, soon 8 - my friend is likely joining us but she's definitely limited to just Saturday.  She's trying to shift her job a little to get her free day, in which case we'll be fairly locked into Saturday.

I suppose you can randomly appear out of nowhere in our current battle... but it would be a bit forced in terms of roleplaying.

We do need a rogue, that said. Or a bard, because bards are good punching balls funny.

NOOO. I refuse to have a bard in our party, between the blood thirsty cleric's blessing and barbarian's pure damage output,
my only value lies in charisma.
My buff banner is basically a poor man's blessing, and I can only deal crazy damage once per 2 rounds. Sooo... yeah. i am more of a support unit.
So no bard. Shush.

So, who is going to control the kobold and his summon? We are going to be weaker without them.

I'd love to have 2 sessions per week (double the Pathfinder double the fun) but I can't make it if it's on Sundays. I have no problems with sleeping late but if a game session lasts like 4 hours, that means I have to sleep at 4:00 AM and get up at 8:15 AM next day. It's difficult to endure 7 hours in college when you go zombie.

Maybe we could just change the hour we start playing at or something...
