Nvm, I'm a newbie myself and it seems people are confident enough to have a Druid as our main spellcaster and no healer, which seems kinda weird to me. I better shut up before coming off as more of a newbie.

The eidolon means I have more gear requirements than others.  I'll probably be investing in at least some of the magic crafting skills. Don't worry dudes, were fine

I can donate about 10 gold, it's all I have.

I have 57 gold to put toward a mule.  The question, though, is would my character do that?  We can always buy it in game, or do a little metagame wrangling to spirit the extra gold (I'm not sure why a kobold grifter in a human town would have a couple pounds of gold in the first place) away to a different character before things start.

Druids are plenty powerful spellcasters.  I'm not the strongest, but I get some awesome buff spells, many before they become available to other classes.

Plus, this isn't world of warcraft, we don't /need/ a wizard

In Pathfinder? There is exactly one circle where Druids end up more powerful then other spell casters and after that they REALLY fall off the bus and keep getting worse and worse.

Outside of that, no. Their 3.5 counterpart would laugh at them.

Should we leave the mule to just graze, or should we buy feed?

You always should have feed for your horse. You never know why your horse might not be able to feet itself. Such as going through a dense forest, in a city, or you just don't have enough time to allow it to feed.

The ability to change their spells everyday from the entire spell list, while also being a dedicated caster or equivilant, is the requirement to be tier 1.

As well Druids' wild shape is very powerful and allows them to shed a lot of the weaknesses other spellcasters have. Hense why Druids' magic keeps getting weaker and weaker after a certain point.
