Things seem to have settled down. Have a couple streams, primarily Vice at the moment, recapping:

1. Fireworks went off. No shots fired. (Vice reporter)
2. No evidence of Molotovs (AP reporter)
3. No reports of movement on the Police Command area from anyone beyond that one report from the police. (Unsourced, so might still be true)
4. Cart accident, 4 hospitalized, 1 maybe dead. (basically everyone)
5. Curfew is now in effect, reporters are now in their "safe reporting zone" well away from where anything is happening, so streams will be a lot less interesting from here on out. Last of the vice crews just surrendered to police.

Cops on last vice stream right now saying they've been shot at "dozens of times" and its incredibly dangerous and they need to go directly to the media area. Cops refusing to give statements, lots of riot cops "escorting" them.

The CNN video did show people throwing the canisters back at the police, I think. I guess those could have been mistaken for molotovs somehow.

This Vice woman is doing a great job getting this officer to talk despite his clear orders not to say anything.

One of the reporters a vice guy is talking to showed video still on his DSLR of the first tear gas being fired. No molotov fires in sight. One of the tear gases was shot a few feet away from him and an AP reporter with nobody else around.

I saw a pic claiming to be from tonight clearly showing protesters throwing tear gas canisters back at police.

Not really sure what I saw and I couldn't tell whether the trajectory was towards or away from the crowds.

On the KSDP feed, there were a pile of cinderblocks in a road. I'm now hearing some rumours that was the cause (the protestors starting to try to build barriers)

You're like 10 minutes behind, at least. I linked this a bit ago, but it was by far the better feed. They've been stuck into the media pen now, so they're actually catching up with Tim right now, BUT they plan on sneaking back out after catching up I think.

I don't think there's a third stream going right now.
