Shit is bad in Ferguson. Police seemed to have decided to launch an all-out attack... not even on protestors, but on anyone, several hours before the curfew. Firing on children, reporters, wooden bullets. Some live ammo too, one of the protestors got hit in the leg, taken away in an ambulance.

In addition, autopsy was released. Six shots struck Brown, seemingly at long range. No gunshot residue on body - that means the earlier police claim of a discharge in the police car are probably not true.

Reporters have been getting arrested, police threatening to shoot them and mace them on camera if they keep reporting, shit is going crazy, no one seems to have any fucking clue what the police are supposed to be trying to accomplish here.

Police are claiming they acted because protestors were marching on Police HQ, though that's more than a mile away from where shit is going down so who knows how they knew that or why they thought this would be the appropriate response if it was even true.

Or it could be different groups of police responding to different things, who the fuck knows at this point. I do not understand why they put the county police back in charge though - they were kicked out for two days, and there was no violence, no disturbances, no criminal behaviour, and the minute they come back you get bullshit like this.

Pretty much what happened is that someone did something the police didn't like and it just devolved from there. Seems to have calmed down a bit atm.
