Don't you listen? I agree with you! I'm just saying that you need to have a more elaborate process than "Shoot anyone that asks", and I'd like to hear some input from you on that issue.

Well as I said the only restriction I support would be that the person requesting euthanasia is of "sound mind". There are problems there in that people with early-onset Alzheimer's or similar may wish to seek euthanasia and it becomes a nightmare trying to decide whether or not they are of sound enough mind to make that decision (there's no distinct "point of no return" during the person's mental decline), and indeed some people with chronic (not temporary) depression may seek it. I would suggest that as long as a court of law would judge you as being of sound mind when trying you for a crime then you would qualify for euthanasia.

As for the more personal topic of yourself and Misko; though you are seemingly happy and glad to be alive now (and for that I am endlessly thankful), if you were indeed of "sound mind" at that time then I would rather you had the option of euthanasia than not. I would always rather that you had the freedom to make the wrong choice.

Even still, city infrastructure is not geared for handling horse drawn conveyances inside city environments. Many have ordinances for catching any poop that might be released, et al.

Well, for chitinous beings, they sure do have persistent problems with hoof hygiene without stringent care regimens! Since most can't get out and run like wild lunatics whenever they feel like it, they end up with hoof material that grows too quickly in the face of the rate of ablation, and need continual trimmings are regular intervals to avoid having all manner of health and joint problems-- in addition, they often need the skin on the bottom pad of the foot removed when it gets to be too thick. There are special tools for doing this. (Hoof knife, and frog pullers)

Failure to supply these health regimens for the animals results in lameness, and nasty bacterial/yeast infections in the hoof-- a condition known as "thrush". (Living in a dirty, poorly draining dry lot exacerbates this problem, but it happens even when on green pasture if hoof maintenance isn't religiously kept up.)

Reading this article, while it is easy to cheer and think this means the downfall of Republicans forever, the underlying message is that sometimes a party goes from the brink of death to POWER OVERWHELMING!!! The only question is how will they come out of it by the end? Will we one day see an economically right wing, socially progressive GOP, or perhaps economically more socialist, but keeping their conservative values, or will they manage to claw the general public back towards them?
