The ban on human-animal hybrids

Why D:
I assume because Human-animal hybrids are such a large problem in Mississippi that is simply requires a law to put and end to the tide of man-birds.

In my experience, requiring a teenager to read something usually makes them hate it more than if they decided to read it on their own.  So go right ahead.

Yea...

That's a pretty long book to have to read in high school.

Problem is that it cause problems for retroviral genetherapies based on certain animal genes. (Not that any exist, but there are some promising leads)

Knowing a human-animal hybrid (he had several of his tendons replaced with animal tendons) I am 100% opposed to this law.

Some of the others don't seem that bad, though? Expansion to guide animal laws? That seems fine. A law to make an already common and accepted practice legal, in the okaying of using meat from animals struck by cars? That seems like a good thing too. It's a bit weird that it requires a permit, admittedly, but most of the country folk I know would probably grab one if it was cheap enough, since you can get a lot of meals out of a single dear. An attempt to repeal a Blue Law? Sounds good, it would be great if only enforced laws were on the books.

Why are any of these bizarre?

One could argue that a significant chunk of the population of Mississippi are human-animal hybrids. Not sure which animal, but it has a fondness for nesting in rusted-out trucks on cinderblocks, and is known by its mating call, "Hooooooooeeeey! Damn baby, can I get sum of that?"

Proof the states have better and more innovative solutions the the feds, http://www.politico.com/story/2013/02/bizarre-bills-fill-nations-state-houses-87933.html

I sincerely hope your kidding, all those are terrible examples of "innovation". Virginia legalizing co-habitation? How's that instruct the Feds, when co-habitation isn't a federal offense?

The most practical thing there is the one letting people eat road-kill. Maybe everyone in the nation can eat road-kill to help the economy.

My favorite : "In Montana, a bill would also make it easier to use animals — but only when they’ve been struck by a car."

And, yes, it's pretty sarcastic.
