Taking bets that Shiba Inu dogs could do a better job at running Congress than actual Congress.

Taking donations for stealthily murdering members of Congress and replacing then with Shiba Inus.
Look, I'm all for killing Congress, but should we really give the pet store lobbyists so much power?

...we take the lobbyists, and replace them with Shiba Inus too. Afterwards we make pet shops illegal because in said shops you can purchase slaves - because if they run the country, what else to call their brethren living within human households than by this term?

We could really go to lengths with this.

Doge, you say?

I would really like to see this petition go through. Congress now actually knows what Doge is (to an extent), so the comment this gets would be interesting. Also maybe they'd actually agree and try to deal with the internet. The internet which is notorious for being a complete mystery to politicians.

Oh sweet merciful FSM.

That's glorious bastardry at its finest right there.
The only way to make it better would be to instigate war between the US congress and 4chan.

Quote

As we can clearly see, "Doge" has already done untold damage to our current generation of children. Not only does "Doge" promote infantile grammar, but reduces the credibility of the Shibi Inu breed by associating itself with the species and reducing something very real to a symbol of low-grade humour. A sharp wit is almost essential to thriving in our current society, filled as it is with countless advances in arts of the mind, and the traits exhibited by users of "Doge" are ill-fitted for this generation.

By allowing "Doge" to thrive as we are now, we are ushering in a new era of mental deficiency. The longer "Doge" remains legal, the longer our children are at risk for being affected by its many negative influences. Furthermore, if we allow it to remain legal as it is now, we are effectively saying that stupidity and ignorance are acceptable traits. By setting such an example, we are encouraging those traits in our children, and children are not young forever. When they become adults, when they marry and have kids, will our children pass the same harm that "Doge" has done to them onto their own?

We cannot allow "Doge" to continue influencing our children towards its destructive patterns of thinking. Allowing it to spread as it already has will begin a spiral of calamity, disorder, and ruin for generations to come. In hopes of protecting our children's future as well as their present, I wholeheartedly request that the United States Congress hereby ban all forms of "Doge" from both public and private use. Thank you.

Many congress critters have twitter and facebook accounts.

4chan has notorious trolls and hackers of all skill levels.

If ever the two should meet......

inb4 "someone" is /b/, and /b/ is also the one doing the convincing.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I have a question. In any state in the USA, do any kids get free school meals? I mean, provided by the school/local authority and such free of charge.

I'm fairly certain all kids get free lunches.

Is this in relation to the Scottish Labor parties voting against the school meals?
For reference there are no free school meals offered here in Aus, but there has been a push to introduce free breakfast and lunches to schools in indigenous communities to try and improve both attendance and nutrition. Still, some of those communities are in almost third world conditions, so not exactly comparable to a developed nation.

The way it works in public schools (at least in my state) is that children of families below certain income thresholds can get their lunches either at heavily reduced cost ($0.25 rather than $2.00ish) or for free.
