Pfft. Even the Gambia doesn't want in the Commonwealth anymore.

I *am* hoping that the backlash against the national Republican Party will carry over to the state level and we can purge these fuckers out of the state house in 2014 before they do any more damage.

The Senate reaching a deal hasn't really been the issue. It's that whatever kind of compromise the Senate reaches, the House is unable to pass it because it's held hostage by the Tea Party wing of the GOP.
