Hey! I've been hoping another of these would come up! I'll be watching this thread. You should probably put a message on STNPO 2 to let people still connected to it know.

You are never lost as long as you have a trusty and reliable Compass. Mine kept pointing North, so I just removed the red Needle! Problem solved!

Then I proceeded to pick up the rest of the bunnies, the masterfully crafted bronze statue, and its head. The head will be his trophy... But I need money.

Oh hell.

Anyway, it's time to embark!

- Where the hell we are? It's supposed to be a frozen rocky island full of riches!
- No! We were going to calm Hill of Flesh!
- Shut up everyone! We were sent to shore of Waters of Zenith!
- HEY, Tomio where we are?! You were guiding us!
- Uh.. I dunno...
- OOOOOOHHHHH CARP!!!!!!!

1st Granite.
We've arrived somewhere. No one knows where, though. And we have no choice but to settle here and try to survive.

We're not alone here, by the way

They look friendly... for now. We should hide our riches, anyway - everyone knows what kobolds do...

Mrs Willsauce, our miner, has dug to sphalerite. At least we have something to let our smiths work on. None of us knows how to smelt, though

Also, she dug into caverns, where veins of gold and copper are. This place is not so dull and barren after all!
And we have a magma pool down there. Great!
So ends the spring.

It's Summer!
We got a few migrants - 4 adults and a child. Three of them are skilled in fighting skills, so they are likely going unter command of Werty. Well, when we'll make them some weapons and armor. But the Gem Gutter who's a marksdwarf can be Werty's cover... I think we have a crossbow, am I right?

Oops. We had an invasion of troglodites. Just three of them, but they brought enough chaos.
First of them began pursuing BFEL the woodcutter, while Werty was catching it. So it was a long and curvy run - BFEL, then trog, then Werty with his copper axe, and they did a few laps all over the land. Finally, Werty got that bastard.

But meanwhile another trog arised, and I sent the marksdwarf to shoot it. Unfotunately, he desided to take it out by bare hands... and failed. Shit. The trog beat the brains out of him! Werty, it's your time! Chop the bastard!

It's autumn.
We set the magma smelters, repell the invasion of troglodites, and are ready for caravan. We have a lot of treasures to trade! I mean, kobolds have. But they don't care when monkeys steal their stuff, so I tink we can borrow some too...

Hooray! Traders! We're ready to trade!

Can we get some screenshots of the actual fortress please? Also thanks for the quick, albeit short, updates. What's the current situation with those friendly neighborhood kobolds?

It's winter!
We're all busy bringing all those stuff to depot, to buy everything we need. Kobolds don't care about us. So we got food, drinks and armor in exchange

And we have an unfortunate accedent with one of farmers, who've been smelting ore down there. A magma crab spit a glob at him and made a headshot. Hell, it's the second death here!

And also we have an invasion of naked moledogs. They just destroyed most of booze we got from caravan! bastards!

And so ends the winter. Will put the save in a few minutes
