EBWOP (Got PPE'd): This may be confusing, but I'm poking also at your confirmational bias here * NQT. Those are the only teams Nerjin was on...Well, y'know, other than the one you were by Grand Rebel Ford.

Why didn't you mention that one in your concluding rites regarding Nerjin? Or...your own team? Besides, the discussion until that point had Nerjin as a suspect > considered > turning consideration > probability despite his D1 play. You...aimed purely at a fallacy in logic which is surprising.

Err, why'd you miss that?

Here, you do miss the other type of logic. Other than go along with constants, you're playing with people. People who could realize that the current situation is precarious to their winning and thus go along with the safest route - clearing up the muck for the moment and then striking at the most crucial point in the game.

The fifth mission.

Anyway, other than the linked * I put. Why do you think Nerjin is scum?

Nerjin cannot be a spy. Not only did he downvote a team of confirmed townies and himself and downvote my team that contained a spy, but also:
If he's a spy, he can be either a spy with ZU and Tiruin or with LS and someone else. If the first, then both he and Tiruin downvoted my team with their buddy ZU for no reason. If the latter, then his teammates (or teammate, in case of a hilariously unlikely LS-Nerjin-Tiruin team) knowingly locked themselves out of victory (for that moment, at least) by downvoting LS's team.

I downvoted your team because:
> There was LS on it. This was the prime fact.
> of how you acted towards Nerjin [I suspected you before]- what I was thinking before was "Why would Dar do such a thing...Pressure, noo. But town Dar doesn't usually poke hard at his suspects in that manner." It was still in ambiguous conflict until the most recent team victory, so...yeah. Now that's clear.

NQT:

Here's all the times members of potential scum teams have downvoted a scum-containing team (inclusing DS's team, but not his votes):

Z L Ne 10
No L Ne 10
T L Ne 9
T Z Ne 9
No Z L 6
No T Z 5
No T L 5
T Z L 4

So you're saying Scum Nerjin has a strong habit of downvoting scum teams.  Interesting.

And I don't see any real utility out of your other math post.  What pattern?  Nerjin only looks high because of how you arranged the data.  Here, look:

Quote
T Z Ne  12
T L Ne  12
No T Z  11
No L Ne 11
Z L Ne  11
No T L  10
No Z L  8
T Z L    7

Same information, different look.

Also, looking at NQT and Nerjin's vote record, there are only three teams where they didn't vote the same way- the first three teams of week 3.  Nerjin was on all three teams, and downvoted two of them.  NQT upvoted the two teams he was on and downvoted the team he wasn't on.  I don't see how this is consistent with Scum Nerjin at all, especially the first team where a Scum Nerjin upvote would have won the game for him.

Hell, let's look at his comment on the team:

Captain Ford

Nerjin

Well I'm sure about 3/4 of the team but the NQT portion unsettles me a bit. I think I'm going to Re-PM glyph and ask for my Up to be changed to down. Originally I thought this may be an alright team but as time passes I doubt NQT more.

Does this look like Scum Nerjin?  Waffling on a winning team, then wandering down to a downvote?

Of the remaining five unconfirmed players Nerjin, Tiruin, ZU, and Leafsnail all seem pretty confident that Nerjin is a rebel.  Which is totally bizarre since I have no idea why Tiruin and ZU are advocating that, but I do have to agree that Nerjin is still my fifth pick.

Captain Ford was worried that if my team passes Leafsnail will get the uncontested vote, but man, the person who makes the team next is Nerjin who is almost certainly town, and even if his team somehow didn't pass all the way to Leafsnail I'm fairly sure Leafsnail is town too.

Mm.  Okay, yeah, it's almost certainly Tiruin/ZU/NQT at this point.  I'll upvote.

Upvoting, because I'm actually a double-agent who has renounced all knowledge on my comrades. I will die in the hopes of a new beginning at the hands of the young rebels I have so loathed and honored in my time.

Oh yes >.>

I'm up-voting.  (PS I'm really glad I got to be a team organizer :D)
One more benefit of team dissidence. Everyone gets a chance to lead :P

Pfp.

Why would ZU, Tiruin, Nerjin and LS all say Nerjin is town? At least two of them must be scum.

But look, I'm secure enough in my ego to admit that I can be mistaken. I hope for rebel sake I'm wrong.

To try and create doubt, which they need to do at this point in order to win

Pre-post edit:

To try and create doubt, which they need to do at this point in order to win

So they're trying to... Get the fifth mission to include one of them? It seems to me at this point the scum have lost.

I would love to agree, but by majority I'm scum.

Lastly.

I was advocating Nerjin was town against everyone (ok mostly everyone who didn't say Nerjin was scum) since D1...
