0. Scum must be following a prearranged plan to ensure victory.
All of my what.

Are you trying to imply that in their beginning discussion, scum made no plans and they've just been winging it the whole game? What?

Please propose that team.  I will vote for it.

No but they wouldn't make such a stupid and rigid plan.  They'd do something more like having a signal to pile-on a team that would make them win (see: week 3 day 1).

I think I'd like to expand on that point. Because I enjoy pointing out the flaws in stupid arguments.

Well it wasn't that easily discoverable, and you and ZU have acted pretty weird with your votes and LS has been on both failing teams.
Anyone who suspects Leafsnail because he was on both missions 1 and 2 gets +1 on my scummitude meter. If you didn't want him on both teams, you shouldn't have voted for him.

0. Scum must be following a prearranged plan to ensure victory.
No. No no no no no.

I'm going to quote Jim on this and say:
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

That is the worst thing I've ever heard.

The spies don't have to put in any effort at all to get spies onto the missions. Do you even remember the probabilities we figured on the first day? The only plan the spies need is one to make sure that no more than one of them sabotages. Having any sort of plan that makes it harder to be a spy is just the antithesis of intelligent.

And the scumteam you fingered is made up of players that are very intelligent.

If this is true, then no matter how convoluted, their plan must be evident in the voting patterns.
Yeah, maybe. But the odds that a pattern would emerge out of random noise is probably stronger.

Also, if they didn't, you can only draw false conclusions. And I'm telling you that if anyone with an ounce of experience was on the team, there's no way they would have agreed to do anything of the sort.

So try again. Preferably with less newb juice.

LS A signal? What like a code word or a big S lit in the sky? Come on. Also, I'm not voting your suggestion LS as I already found you to be deeply suspicious and until I do a bit more analysis I'm not convinced 100% of the LS-ZU-Ford theory.

Ford, I deliberately and openly downvoted the second team explicitly due to LS's presence, get your facts straight. I'm not convinced yet, I just wanted to throw the theory out there. Research continues.

Oh wait. Now I remember.

Yeah, you advocated for that specifically. I really apologize for that.

That said...have you kept up with anything that's happened in the past week?!?

Something such as the below would probably be the symbol scum would look for.

Spoiler: Scumteam Symbol (click to show/hide)

I think that'd slip right by the town.

I don't think it's really possible to search for a signal when they can prearrange it.  It could be a common typo of a specific word, or a certain kind of whitenoise post, or using an @ symbol in a different place to normal, or putting two spaces instead of one between two specific words, or literally anything.

Yeah, okay NQT. Maybe there is something to find buried in there. Something that will change everything.

...although I have a feeling that the only appropriate response will be via picard image macro.

I wanted to call NQT a dumbfuck idiot (and actually wrote up a post explaining why), but if he's only bluffing and doing what I suspect he is doing, then he's an extremely clever town who'll net us a win.

Of course, he may not be bluffing and actually be a dumbfuck idiot. Who knows.

Don't worry big-D, I often wonder this myself.

In a we bit, I'll be posting up some analysis of stuff people have said, as I know you guys prefer that sort of thing.

I may have to use big-D myself now.

Also put up a team and make sure to explain why you think it's a good team.
