You might try making a new thread about it, since I suspect only the 8 people involved in the Bay12 BBL are watching this thread currently. More likely to pick up players that way.

For the unaware, Blood Bowl is a game made by the Games Workshop which is basically NFL meets Rugby meets Warhammer. For the more unaware, FUMBBL is an online version of said game. For the absolutely stupid, the Bay12 Fortress League is an attempt to put the game into the hands of the mass of Bay12. Are you the best coach on Bay12? Well, there's only one way to find that out, and that is to put you all in a league.

So yeah, this is Bay12 Blood Bowl: The Free Version. FUMBBL is actually pretty easy to use, we just need teams. Make one on the site and post your team and coach names here. I'll then add you to the roster and you're pretty much  ready to play. Most of the time we'll be playing in a standard league format, but we will have the occasional (read: more than infrequent) tournament. And of course, most importantly, the league page itself in all of it's ??GLORY??.

Erm... I don't actually no what else to put here, so here's a quick synopsis of a game I played against myself, Dwarves Vs Goblins. Long story short, two goblins died (one by tripping, the other by foul), three got injured, two got sent off and two got KO'd. The Dwarves only lost their Troll Slayer to the foul. And the Dwarves, in the midst of all this maiming, got 3 'Downs to love. 'Twas a fun game.

Dwarves vs Goblins is one of the most one-sided matches you can get. Between AV 9 and block/tackle, virtually each and every dwarf is tailor-made to ruin a gobbo's day... and that's just at 1000 value - once the dwarves start leveling up, you'll get mighty blow and guard in there too. It's a slaughter.

Looks like I've remembered my FUMBBL login (coach page says I haven't played since August of 2008.) I'm assuming that we want fresh 1000 point teams for this?

The only thing I don't like about hte prospect of a Bay12 league is that people might be inclined to pick dorfs.  BB Dorfs are the most boring fucking thing in the entire world.
