Turn 6:Outmatch!

Paige Campbell, Pawel Sprtomviec, Richard Collins

Paige latches on to Pawel brawling about the dead body while Richard look for a weapon finding a (D20:19(why not)) cricket bat on top of a filing cabinet. Pawel also look for a weapon(D20:3) but Paige is not letting you go and make searching hard.

A crashing noise from the ground floor sound out and after a few moments a voice is heard “Is that all you got, bastard!”

All of you feels a headache coming on.

Spoiler: Richard's stats (click to show/hide)

Gerald White

(D20+5:20)Looking around you find a lot of rusted through hacksaws, some body parts(mostly cats) and a spade.

Heading outside(D20+5(spot):14)(D20+5(P.E.):20)parry a sword, no a bone spike with the spade. Looking at the owner, who is from the waist down is a snake tail and above is a overwrought clay man with arms ending in those bone spikes, you take a battle stance, well at least a good copy of one you saw on TV the other day.

“You look delicious.” the female voice make it seem even worse then before. It surged forward with the spikes extending in a parody of the snake it half look like. (land brood hit roll D100(79):79)(Damage roll:Hidden)(15) you block the fangs, but miss the tail that fling you through the window.

(D20+5(P.E.):25(Man you got luck this turn with rolls, that damage roll was the lowest it could be))Getting up you stare at the snake man woman and say with all the strength you can muster “Is that all you got, bastard!”

Along with all the pain, you feel a headache coming.

Richard wields the cricket bat like a sword, looking around.

Then he winces and grunts as the headache comes on.

"Bloody hell, why now of all times?!"

He rubs his head with one hand, keeping the bat in the other.

Paige looked up from Pawel, leaving a spot on his shirt soaked with tears, finally pulling away and taking a seat at a chair. Deep breaths. Deep, calming breaths!

She wiped her face with her sleeve and snuck a glance over at Richard, who now had a cricket bat of all things clutched in his hands like he was the goddamned Highlander.

Like that's going to stop whoever did this...

She jerked upwards with a shock at the sound of the strife beneath them, heart dropping into her stomach. The headache that followed made her wince and cringe a little in pain. Maybe it'd be a good idea to find a weapon after all... not like it'd be much use in her hands.

"Dammit. No legs. This isn't one of those dreams I can win by challenging the monster to football..."

Gerald draws his spade and briefly strikes a fighting pose, but the pain from the snake person's onslaught causes him to reconsider. He usually didn't feel pain in his dreams, and he can't recall a gap in memory between waking up and the present where he could have fallen asleep. Although the idea that he could very well be experiencing reality has yet to dawn in his conscious mind, Gerald knows something is just wrong about the situation.

The boy runs toward the stairwell, hoping that human legs proved faster than serpentine locomotion, and preying that the monster may have trouble with the stairs if he was to put a flight or two between it and himself.

Flee Upstairs!

((Sorry, I had tests yesterday))

The ruckus from beneath is almost a welcome distraction. It allows Pawel to stop looking at the body. On the other hand, it also stops him from checking if Paige is ok. Or Richard, who seems to suddenly clutch his head.

It sounds like a fight down there. Given that there is a dead goddamned body lying around here... something Pawel is not sure he can fully comprehend right now... this is going to turn ugly soon.

Cower down besides the open door, wait for someone to storm in and go for their knees!

Turn 7:Battle!

Paige Campbell, Pawel Sprtomviec, Richard Collins, Gerald White

Gerald, (D20+5-5(you are in pain):18): fighting the pain coursing through his body, run up the stair. “You can't escape me, little one!” say a voice below Gerald.

Meanwhile Richard poised, before his headache kick in. While he tried to recover, Paige looks for a weapon on the bases that something is better than nothing.(D20:16) She find a long metal pole which she twirl in her hands. Pawel take an ambush position by the door. Not a moment later Gerald bust through the doorway. He take a second to breathe before saying “Hi” and turn back to the doorway.

The monster slide through and Pawel strikes (D100(81):23)(damage roll:0%(It also pointless)) dealing (2) damage to it's tail.

All four of you are in combat with the Land brood.
