Generally speaking, call yourself whatever your Lord calls you.

For low ranking nobles:
I call anybody with any land Baron.
Someone with 1 vassal(who also has land) is a Count

For high ranking nobles i count the other way, away from this King:
The king is King
Second in command is a Duke

The lists meet somewhere in the middle.
I have been upgrading my own guys titles since it was silly to have our capital held by a Baron with 3 vassals.
(My main character is a Duke, so I guess he has the right to upgrade anybody to any position below him)

Food as a function(f) of the number of farmers(x), with base yield(y) is:

That's a really cool analysis, but it's not the function I actually use. Yours is within a few % for values up to about 1000 peasants and similar base yields, however. Good work!

Also, there's a thread specifically for this analysis on the official forum now:

With lots of economy code added today, I'm looking forward to your next post :-)

I am very honoured Tom!

I'll do my best to come up with a better model :)

Am I right in thinking that that food produced is a power/potential function?

remember to refer to the peace agreement when you take land:

(unless the agreement is outdated)

We are in the process of taking over the last of the towns in our territory, when we are done we will be handing out estates.

Has Aerinia gone AFK? I sent him a message a week ago.

Also, this has got to be the worst fealty-swearing yet:
"I am from B12, username on there is Android."

Death to nobs!!!
I just killed a Silverfire!
Let us purge the land of the vermin!

Chrionacht has finally seceded from the Aerinia empire!
Could we maybe pick something else than dark green? Blue preferably.

A bit of an update to this map,  Ebonheart is AFK and his lands are free to take.  We've got a lot of vassals so we need to spread this around.  Also, Ank could you give me back the towns that Silver took while I was away?

I ended up switching the kingdom to an orange color, there are already several blues and purple colors out there.  I wanted something more identifiable.  I think I want to start driving down towards Vasconcia in an couple IG weeks.

OK, I have to reload the save.
There was a bit of a problem regarding flashfreezing, a ballistae, and a barrel of dwarven ale. Gonna fix it up.

I need the names of the towns, I have the owners in the area actually, they should arrive next turn, i can hand over control then, or rather, i will just leave them undefended, and you can claim them.

I'm giving Aerinia 1 more day to respond, then I'm taking his southern lands by force.

EDIT: I guess we are brown/orange now...

Yeah, I figured it would be the most distinctive color I could take, it doesn't blend into the map, and no one else has something like it.  The names of the towns are Cogadh, Kedubana, Bestridale, and Baesaward.  I don't think he's AFK since the's still talking on the forums.  First take his towns with a different last name character, just to be safe.

I'll back you up if Aerin takes umbrage. I have more than enough forces to make him tuck tail and scurry home. The Silver lands beneath Ebonheart are being claimed by my vassal, Madigan. He began travelling yesterday.

By the way, has Vonnegut given tribute? I am nearing his capital with a sizeable troop. I'm sure you can negotiate from a strong position.

I don't suppose there are any invite codes floating around? I'd been interested in Might&Fealty since before the alpha started, but I ended up not signing up for it due to a few random issues I had.

Oh yea, this disclaimer: http://forum.mightandfealty.com/index.php/topic,443.0.html

It is Tom reminding people that this is still an Alpha, 10% done(or something like that).  Remember it well.

Not quite. Think population modelling.
