We currently encompass three nations: Crionacht (My kingdom)  Zahringen (Gervassen's land) and Pericolo (Shooer's country)

which is like 30% of the lands! Woo!

Our immediate goal should be to control everything west of Pericolo's eastern border.

There's also Vasconia, east of Zahringen, though I'm not with done my hierarchy tree yet.

The dev specifically did not point any guides, and wrote very few explanations/descriptions so that the testers can stumble about and 'explore' the game in its current state to give feedback on how good/bad the interface and the like is.

If I ever manage to turn back the tide of killers at my gates, Firmamog would happily join. Though you would have to work fairly far east for our lands to meet up...

Generally, starting at Briseadh is good. Plenty of cities nearabout that place in need of love.

If you start in Crionacht I can give you some heavy infantry and and swath of peasants for the purpose of conquering.

OK, I have to reload the save.
There was a bit of a problem regarding flashfreezing, a ballistae, and a barrel of dwarven ale. Gonna fix it up.

It was more a case of wth todo at char creation ;p

I decided todo the top option "Accept Fealty Offer"
Clicked on Start Here and it's just spinning atm, has the game crashed? ;p

Edit: it woke up after about 10 mins, something about an invalid token. Went through it again but no 5 solider starting option now.

How do you find your existing areas on the map to join in/next to it?

Sweet son of a gun! Tom's just added character death, guys.  Don't go wasting your nobles in battles, we need every man we can get.

He probably got sick of my potentially turn-wrecking hijinks. Last turn, for example, I was up to some shenanigans with twelve nobles engaging in twelve separate battles against my training character. :)

Do not worry my friend, you can always recruit more training captains and other such paraphernalia... They may have some standing, but they are not nobles, so their lives are of little consequence... perhaps though, they may earn a place through their service.

Actually, using 'other' characters similar to 'paraphernalia' from Battlemaster... as scouts, scribes and squires is not too far-fetched under the system.
