We should sneak in and burn the tents. That will provide a distraction.

What are the black buildings made of, and does the MG we have fire rounds of sufficient strength such that they can penetrate those walls?  Do all those buildings open towards the center of the camp?

Anywho, team discussion. Do we care enough about the slaves that we would rather attack in the day so our machine-gunner can see what he's remotely shooting at while applying suppressing fire or would we rather attack at night, where return fire is signficantly more difficult and we take the enemey by surprise?

On the information I presently have, I nominate we move men in position as best we can with minimum risk of detection, then apply suppressing fire from the western side of the hill, which has a view of the camp, as well as snipers. If the enemy remains in their houses, the advance guard we send can lob in some grenades or burn them out. If they come out, they'll be met with the aforementioned hazards or an armed and prepared member of our group.

all the black thing are Vehicles, notably three large trucks, two cars and a load of bikes.
you can see that both tent have towards the center but the odd are that there is a way in from the back or side.
the MG is loaded with home made 7.62x54 ammo, no where near the power of factory loadings,it will still piece a car door so you happy with using a safer and cheaper ammo.

woo.
right. everyone but the snipers, the 6 people for the bikes and the three for the rhino grab a gun and a mortar and go behind. use mortars as grenades (slam top into metal plate, throw), get trucks first.
snipers on hill, cause chaos. then bikes from right side of hill, rhino on left. guys behind mop up.

We should use an MG on the hill for suppression, and use the Road Rhino as a  tank, charge in and disable as many vehicles and enemy combatants as possible.

Hm...sounds like a plan, maybe even a good one.

It offers little chance of reward; most of the captives will get killed, but also minimum risk. All the guys in the road rhino toss frags and firing their weapons. Oh, and keep the snipers on the hill.

...So, suppression fire is more dangerous than tossing frag grenades into camp?

The frag grenades are mostly to disable vehicles and create a killzone in the camp, prompting the enemy to flee towards the open in an attempt to exit the killzone. Suppression fire is more incentive and prevents them from employing more sophisticated anti-vehicle measures as the Road Rhino is still in the distance.

you decide that you should act fast and attack with maxim force, with a fast charge using the rhino.

you leave your 3 best shots on the hill with the MG and a bike each.
the rest of you cram in to rhino each with a SMG, a pistol and a frag grenades.

you fly down the hill the engine' roar shattering the night, dek asks you do you want to hit the bikes or the tent or drive a round shooting.

I opt we deploy half our infantry at equidistant points on the circumference of a circle whose radius is the center of the camp to the edge of the camp plus 50 meters so they can take a prone position and deploy hand grenades safer. Then, we keep the infantry left inside on the inside of our driving around, instructing them to focus on any enemy with anti-vehicular weapons, then anyone entering a vehicle. We would at that point have three overlapping fields of fire and an enemy who is unable to easily escape the killbox.  Oh, and ensure that none of the deployed infantry are between the sniper/mg side of the hill and the enemy on account of our underpowered ammunition.
