After that, you establish the crude rope bridge over the pit as described. Everyone crossing it needs a DC 10 balance check to make it with no issue

So everyone manages to make it across, though the paladin, weighed down with his armor, looked like he was gonna slip for a moment.

As everyone continues up the corridor, the eventually come across.....another door. Seriously, there seems to be doors EVERYWHERE down here. What's interesting to note is that this door seems to be similar to the first door you encountered.....

Well, I did say similar, it seems instead of click-able panels you have three handles in recesses to twist. Regardless, the sequence works on the first try...but as soon as you open the door, a tripwire attached to the other side pulls and breaks, activating a spell in the ceiling that causes hundreds of caltrops to rain down and scatter all across the room!


So, there are 2 other doors in this room, one north and another east door. The caltrops make this harder, as besides posing a stepping hazard render every square as threatened. meaning you can't take 10 or 20 on skill checks
