It seems these panels control the lock and trap mechanisms, and as such are slightly indented compared to the rest of the door They also form a rough triangle, with one panel near the top, and two panels in the middle. However, looking at the panels closely doesn't appear to give a clue as to the correct order to push them

And yes, mage hand will work for manipulating the panels, they don't require all that much force to depress

Since I have no chance of actually getting hit by the needle, I can take 20, right? That is unless the needle has a reach of 5 feet but that's kind of overkill.

How about, "We let the guy who has the DR and fast healing to survive whatever it throws at me do the job." Or, "We let the guy willing to do the job do the job."

Be specific on the combination you'd like to try first. Also, you can't use mage hand to open the door itself, it happens to be to heavy for that. Also, no(the needle isn't magic), though you'd still have been poisoned, I believe

Mage hand kind of negates the effects of the needle anyway.
