"Oh, you too?  I mean, I can do cold.  But lightning?  That is impressive.  We will be quite the pair, if I do say so myself.  We should experiment to see how we can optimize our breath weapons... but how often are you able to use yours?  I only ask because I don't want us to expect anything that the other is not able to provide.  But I noticed you were a bit out of the norm.  And am I talking too much again?  Sorry about that.  It happens more than I can prepare."

"You fly? My gnomish friend, you've gotten too far from your roots. The ground is the only place for a proper man. I can scout for us. I know tunnels, I know stealth, and I know how to find anything we need."

Renark pauses. "Speaking of monsters, there'll be traps too. I can find 'em, but I never tried my hand at taking them out. Any of you know how?"

I know the remedy for a trap, and that's a good hit to the mechanisms!

"I am sorry, but the ground is only a limitation set by the mind.  Should one be able to transcend that obstacle, one will know true freedom.  I am still trying to perfect that, but I feel I am not far."

The dwarf's nose crinkles. "That's a remedy for a trap alright - It helps the trap get rid of you better. Don't you know most of the time, if you do that, all it does is trigger it? And it tends to be where you are?" Ridiculous. Bunch of sky-lovers don't even know how to navigate a cavern, probably. Can't see their hands in front of their faces without a torch, most likely. Too goddamned bright... "But hey. If you wanna try that, that's a bigger share of the treasure for me."

The dwarf laughs. "The ground is what lets you know where you are, that your ancestors are near, and that yer home. It's not an 'obstacle', it's a joy, and a friend. Can't count how many times a lucky rockslide has helped me get past a patrol, or escape some lucky guardgoblins."

"I understand.  One is attracted to something that he understands.  But should you let that go, should you release yourself from the barriers presented by your upbringing, then and only then can you understand my meaning.  I do not mean to offend, I only say it as I see it."

"Aye. And I say as I've seen it. The earth is no foe, nor barrier to those who know it. The tunnels under the surface, the tombs and caverns that dot the earth, connecting and winding? They are my home. They allow for as much freedom as the sky, with protection and sustenance to boot."

"I have no doubt that you feel comfortable underneath the surface.  I only say that for those that desire it that the sky can be your greatest ally.  The dragons of old realize this, and it is from them that I take my belief system.  I do not expect you to understand where I come from, nor the challenges I have overcome to reach where I currently occupy.  I do not judge you based off of your past, and I would appreciate the same courtesy."

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

I believe they either have no weight or are 1 lb per potion. I'll rule no weight, unless you guys start getting ridiculous numbers of potions of course
