Okay, puzzle time. What do I know about the wizard who built this tower. Most certainly Evil. Most likely Lawful. Would such a person use the same combination twice?

I press the panels from a distance with my tools, right to left.

As soon as you hoist the lid, a great flash happens and an unbearably bright light engulfs the entire room!

Everyone in the room needs to make a DC 16 fort save or be blinded for 1 minute. Making this save results in you being dazzled instead

Since I was hiding out of sight, do I still need to make the save? And also, Light Sensitivity...will that give me a penalty? FINALLY, it's magical right? So I get my dorfiness to save against it?

Darvi, you figure out it is an area-effect spell that causes blindess with an extremely bright light. Role, It engulfed the entire room, burning away ANY shadow. So yes you need to make the save, you get a +4 penalty for light sensitivity, and since it is magical, yes to your last question if this type of spell apllies
