No, jut fear. They have diplomacy as a class skill, but I didn't put any ranks in it because INTIMIDATION

I decide that I've waited long enough and also walk to the bar. I place myself next to the abrasive brute and start talking to him.

"Listen, I am not aware of anything that I have done to offend you, but if so, I think we can talk it out peacefully. Sound like a good idea?"

I turn to the bartender and order two tankards of ale.

[Remuthra]

As long as ye stay honest, I shall not trouble ye. But watch yeself, I do not tolerate affronts to the light!

At this moment, a hooded stranger walks into the inn and goes up to the bar. There's nothing remarkable about him, except that his clothing is especially well-worn, and it looks like he's known around here as the bartender greets him cheerfully. He exchanges a few plesantries, and after a while he seems to ask a question, as to which the bartender answers by pointing at the two sitting at the bar, and the group at the table. He gets up and walks over to Sir Johns and Wymar. "Mark here says you seem to be two of the strongest adventurers here, along with the four at that tsble over there. If you'll follow me, I gotta job for you lot, I promise it'll be worth your time." With that he walks over to the table in the corner, waiting for the two to follow him, as well as introducing himself to the rest when they get there. "Name's Josen Freldak, traveler, minstrel, and general wanderer. I've recently made a rather large discovery that I need help with. Are any of you familiar with the tale of Kryshtak, the mad wizard king, and his fabled wealth?"(OOC you should all now be sitting at the same table)

"Uh, me? I'm not... the adventuring type, if by adventures you mean going out and defeating evil warlords and discovering hidden temples and stuff. Far too dangerous."

Starting to get nervous. People knowing you is the first step to people knowing what you do. Better to play along, lest the guy gets suspicious.

I don't have any ranks in Knowledge(History), so I can't roll for it.
