It's here.  I'm not to add in your new post GWG; I wanna go to bed  :'(
I'll be back tomorrow, as I have nothing to do tomorrow.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

If there was any cap to this sort of thing; letters or words or lines, I hit it.  So this is what I'll do for a while.  I do not envy Mycroft Holmes. Although he is fictional, he did this sort of thing daily, for the full British Empire, India and all.  [/b]

Edit.  I went on a bolding spree.  If I missed or mispelled something, just tell me.

Might I suggest that you use formatting to make the turn more legible? Bold, italics, underlining and things like that?

Well, I assume it's time to post our next turns. And FYI I do intend to mass produce my clothing, since there is no industry available I simply build a large collection of workshops for the refining, processing, and clothesifying of metal, leather, and cotton. And silk if I can trade for it later. I assume this is still doable?
Turn: I begin by prospecting the surrounding area for armor-suitable metals.
I then continue construction on the Great Pants Mill.
Finally, I send out a small team of militia to explore my tula.

Have no idea what the "update" means.

(Please don't count that as my action for this turn, but it is kinda dense...)

I think that all our actions are either Produce actions or Consume actions. Produce actions create something that is sold to the Crown for money, and Consume actions use the money we have to build things like roads or cities. At the bottom of each person's turn there is a count of how much Copper (money) they have left. Since we have a limited amount of copper, we have to limit what we do next turn to fit within the constraints of our Production and Taxes.

I'm fairly certain mine meant that I earned 70 copper, 20 from farming, and 50 from mining and woodcutting combined. Then lost 16 in taxes. Interesting. Is it safe to assume that we do not need to feed our colony?

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

If food is necessary, then solely mining, if not then split it between mining and farming.

It would be nice if the updates were tad more readable and some explanation given as to what is caused by what. But I am sure you will get it with time.

1. Expand wheat farming to make colony self-sufficient and to provide food exports to other colonies (if they want to buy food locally than importing the overpriced stuff from Europe :D)
2. Build tobacco warehouses to store tobacco produced on my estate and by the colonists. Sell tobacco to the homeland!
3. Build cotton warehouses to store cotton from the colony. Sell cotton to the homeland!
4. build sawmills and logging camps.

Colony Name: Meridia
Economy: Cotton, Tobacco, wheat/general farming and foodstuffs, timber.

I decided that the game will go on for a while like that, until I roll double 1s in the parliament roll (I still can't spell), or someone decides that they have become strong enough to take on the British.  I'll make turns three years, so now it is 1703.  Oh hey, guess what.  We have a war this turn.  Spanish War of Succession.

DOUBLEPOST! :( I keep doing this.

The war is the war of Spanish Succession.  Spain and France VS us (with allies in Europe).  I'll be fighting in Europe, you guys take on their colonies.  Change your actions to reflect this.  I'll check back later.

This is actually right on the money.  I hope after the bolding, it was clearer.  Anything that would naturally cost would take away money.  I'm abbreviating based on the elemental symbol on the periodic table.  Cu = Copper;  100 Cu = 1 Ag = Silver; 100 Ag = 1 Au; Gold.  You'll want to produce ships eventually so you can trade a larger volume of goods per turn.

So we have to do 2 turns?
My other 3 actions are:
1. Finish the Factory. (if it doesn't take more than 3 years)
2. Send trade delegations out to ask for a weapon trade, I don't make weapons.
3. Assign workers to begin working the mill.

Time to use criminal scum privateers.

1. Hire and pardon any pirates that are willing to capture French ships and not attack English ships.
2. Befriend the Indians in my territory and try to have them help out if Lindiria is ever attacked.
3. Continue expanding cattle ranching. Slaughter some and export some beef to the neighbors.
4. Start building a town near the harbor.

Can you do that? Seems a little much authority for a governor.
