Oh yea, seeing as there are quite a few mining colonies, quite a few of you are gonna have to change that when we start, as you live in the ore less South.
I am the greatest of the mining colonies, therefore the other colonies are posers. Don't worry everyone, when I unite you all under the Proelian rule, no longer will you be as weak an pathetic as you are now.

IMPOSTERS!

The COMPANY should get the resources! I am, after all, the most loyal.

Colony Name: Vangardia
Name: Maestro Aleksadre
Region: Middle

1)Set up basic agriculture, of both the meat and non-meat varieties. try to have as much variation as possible.
2)Start prospecting for significant metal sources. If found, start construction of mines.
3)Send some me out to cut down lumber for construction. Guarded by the musket-men (i assume each colony has a small garrison of mucketeers to help defend them? if not, just arm the lumberjacks so they can defend themselves.
4)Plan out and begin construction on a small town.
5)Build a Wooden fort and medium sized docks for trade.

Optional:

6) Start construction of a watermill to power an irrigation system.
7) Begin construction of roads to he other colonies.

No you do not get musket men, you get militia.  Arming the populace is a good idea.

I'd say I'm at about Pennsylvania or upstate New York then?
Turn: I start by ordering the beginnings of construction on the Needle's textile mill.
Next I order the planting of wheat and cotton crops in a nearby valley.
Finally, I send out my hunters to begin acquiring hides.

Where do you put the mill?

Oops double post; quoted and wasn't paying attention.

I'll post the turn later today.

OK then, just arm my lumberjacks. dont want the Indians or wildlife to get any ideas about killing my people.....

Also, Send petition to the King asking for manufacturing rights for my colony only.

I'd really like it if i didnt have to rely on the trade of Agricultural goods, ships and raw materials.

EDIT:Send a message to both Meridia and Eisen asking for a non aggression pact.

Colony Name: New Veragua
Name: Sir Ian Kaeden Ainsworth
Region: South

1. Take all efforts to ensure that the planting of the crops goes smoothly, and that the harvest is not delayed.

2. Encourage small farmers to expand, so that New Veragua will not encounter any food problems in the future.

3. Recruit a few militia to help man Forts Santander and Iguala.

Everything good? (even if I didn't get my information)

Ah, we're starting from Square 0?

If so,
Set up some farms and search for edible plants in the woods. (Say, Morningglow?)

In not,
Request that GM describe where the colony is.

Nope.  You each have a capital, and have small towns that work according to what you asked for.  In the order from North to South, you can see who borders who.  You can make more towns.  If you really really wanted, you could name those towns, but I'm not remember that that town out in the middle of nowhere is there.

Your colony is in the forest.  I read morningglow as a huckleberry.  Is that close?  Obviously there are differences, like I don't know if huckleberries can be made into an alchoholic beverage.

Oh yea, seeing as there are quite a few mining colonies, quite a few of you are gonna have to change that when we start, as you live in the ore less South.

1. Do you have five hundred gold coins? No.  How do you get gold coins?  You send the gold to me and wait.  Then you die.  (Nice king huh.  He'll abdicate soon enough.)

I figured out the problem with my computer.  It was the dll fixer.  It fixed the problem with _s up for one of my games.  It was doing a registry scan every start up and slowing everything down (even typing in the Google bar lagged the thing for several minutes).  Everything is fine now.  I'll edit in turn one soon.

No! I must have the right to make clothing!
On another subject, anyone want to trade weapons?

Sorry about lack of info.  I just got home.  I do not have lots of time over the weekend and am trying to get the basic mechanics set in stone.

What I have come to is the region system to make things easy on myself.  I'm not gonna spoil anything for you guys, but think about your region.  I will give you anything you can see once I sort through the mess of posts and organize it *again*  :(.  When my computer froze, I had typed up a lot.  504 gateway time out! :(

North:
Pine Forest
Rocky Soil
Cold
Middle
Fertile Land
Temperate
Broad-leaf Forest
South
Swamps
Hot
Fertile Soil

I'll update tomorrow.  It is a chore looking up people's actions.  It would probably help if you guys didn't muck the thread up with so much diplomacy, but hey.  It also might help if I set posts per page to lower.  Well, I'm writing the thing today and we start tomorrow.  Thank god for spell check.  :P

Yeah, I might.  But I'm just tired from the week.  Finally getting the mechanics down, sorta.  It's funny how you guys are making non aggression pacts when your all citizens of the same country.

You already do!  You guys seriously make me laugh a lot.  (I hope you all will hate me in the future, because I plan on role playing the king of Great Britain, not the pansy Frenchies or the Dutch who trade with the natives. )

In other news, I might probably get the update up today! :D  Yay

Amusingly, despite misunderstanding my question, you answered it. (I was asking about where in the process of turning from wilderness to metropolis it was.)

I actually didn't base it on anything. Well, a little on sunberries, but not much.

Wait, what? Nonaggression with others is war with you? Do you want all the not-war to yourself or something?

Check status of Sun Wine facilities. Its our main export, after all. Actually, do a "routine" check on all industries. Don't start anything special just yet.
