Mining is getting dangerous now. Last week I heard in the news about some guy losing his hand in a mining accident. The profits are good though +80Cu3. WAR UPDATE
So, the French guy gets to inherate Spain? That would !NOT! be good for anyone. The Hre(German Federation of States), Britain, and even Some parts of Spain are oppossed to French rule. So war broke out, and we are at war. Naturally you, the colonists are to fight in America and I am to fight in Europe.
In war, there are things called generals. Guess why you needed your name. You can be a general, but all it takes is one misplaced cannon shot and you are out of the game. You can hire a general, but you would not be able to control the army from far away, and his army may end up like Braddock's expidition. Also, if you take everyone and put them in the army, you will not produce anything and your men will starve. I will sit there and laugh at your demise. Also, invasion will be VERY VERY HARD. Do not expect to take over the southern Spanish colony with light militia. Do expect to defend your colony with light militia. I may send over reinforcements though, and joint colonial attacks have more of a chance to succeed than non joint ones. It would be the most even fight when both sides attack.
In combat you will react to phases of short battles that will accumulate to about five posts for a major battle. If you are not present, you will not see this, just the outcome. You are mostly always present when defending your capital, unless you have fled to europe or are somewhere else.
You can attack three times, once each year. I'll be doing that more then you.
