"FUCKING BULLSHIT, THEY HAVE THRONEDAMNED BOMBERS! SPREAD YOUR ASSES OUT AND KEEP FIRING!" After calmling down a little he adds "Focus heavly bolter fire on the Exo. Everyone else fire into their forces, see if you can hit their commandres. Far right and left flanks should focus on the trees!"

Sergeant Warhammer ducks back from the lip of the trench as one of his men falls to the ground screaming
"SHit, MAN DOWN! MAN DOWN! I NEED A MEDIC OVER HERE! SQUAD, OPEN FIRE ON THE BLUE BASTARDS, ANY MAN WITH A COLD LASGUN WILL BE FLOGGED! WHERE THE HELL IS THE GODDAMN MEDIC!"

Open Fire on infantry within range, heavy bolter fires on the battlesuit if it's within range, else focus on the closest Enemy Infantry squad

Third turn, same as the first two, insofar as Frumple's critters go. Sniper focuses on either squad leaders or the broadside, whichever's most likely to kill something. Bolter... I guess aim it at the broadside, if it's in range. Everything else just fire for effect -- shoot at whatever they're most likely to hit. Same for the bolter if the broadside isn't in range. Stay in the trenches, et al.

Echoing the earlier request: Is it possible to get a list of visible enemy forces?

If it's in the images for the turn, it's visible. The main problem is that the lasguns don't have the range to hit any targets at all, and I'll be keeping it that way for a while :P

Yes, yes, I can see the critters icons, but I have no idea what they are :P I mean, I think it's a few firewarrior squads and a broadside, but my experience with WH40k is limited to the video games, so I've got no clue if there's something odd going on.

S'kinda' like if there wasn't that sniper in my squad specifically mentioned I wouldn't be able to tell it apart from all the rest of the critters. Even knowing it's there I couldn't point the right unit out to you :P

Well, just the one broadside, three six-tau infantry squads and the one 12-tau squad.

Kepler shook his head, ears ringing from the close impact.

"Crap, sarge, Dimitri bought it!" one of his troopers shouted into his ear, his voice tinny and distant, though his hearing was returning quickly.

"Sit down, shut up and keep your discipline!" Androv roared, grabbing a nearby Vox as he saw the new craters and the untouched Tau forces charging down the road.

"Basilisk! Right four degrees, down six and fire for effect, you scragging grox lover!" he shouted before dropping the transmitter and turning to his men. "Alright you apes, get your acts together! I want those Tau scattered! Karl, keep that bolter on the armor! For the rest of you, volley fire! Three rounds rapid, then resight!"

As the squad formed a firing line and sighted down their lasrifles, Sergeant Androv raised his voice. "In His Name!"

"FOR THE EMPEROR!" they roared in replied, lighting the darkness with the flash of the bolter and the volleyed fire of their lasers.

OOC:
Keep the bolter on that Broadside before it blasts our Basilisk, infantry fire into the front of the Tau formation, let's get them to go to cover. :)

Continue firing. That's really all there is to do.

all we need is a basilisk lucky hit. That would be enough to shatter them.

Fire on the incoming Tau lines! Heavy Bolter fire! Guardsmen fire! Fire for the emperor! Throw grenades and fire!
And if you can't then do it all the same for the emperor!

“Do something!” she whispered, trying to keep her sight on all of them at once.
Basileus clapped his hands once. The Forgotten took a step forward, attracted by the sound.
“There, I did something. I clapped. I like clapping,” he said. -The Investigator And The Case Of The Missing Brain.

Oh yeah, actions for myself, that would be useful.

Jump into the trench and open fire on the enemy lines.

OOC:

One thing I'd suggest to keep this moving is have a set time period between turns (2 or 3 days?) to give people time to respond. If they don't, either have their units do what the units nearest to them are doing, or run them as you see fit.

Now granted, this two day period should start from the posting of the turn results.

This is a good idea.
