So out of interest do you plan on having our chosen squads become more unique to use as wel play ?

I'd call dibs on captured Tau pulse rifles, but... the commissar might look askance on that.

Yeah, the way we have XP working it'll allow you to take new traits and stuff to modify your unit (with obvious balancing it'll be your choice what they'll be) and the squads directly controlled by players will be able to take more special weapons and stuff later on.

Do we have anything left for me to order about and irrationally project onto?

"Innovation is the mother of not getting your face shot-off needlessly, and the Emperor smiles upon those who do not get their face shot-off needlessly. Therefore telling the commissar to shut the fuck up because you picked up a trophy is smiled upon. I won't send you boys in mindlessly. Throne, theres enough of that as is."

Dear Emperor, don't let the Ecclesiarchy hear you say that. Wasn't the sermon last Friday about how the admiration for the tools of the xeno are the first step on the path to damnation, right before Commissar Burke executed that one private who said the Tau battle suits were 'cool'?

If someone thinks the Emperor's blessed weapons aren't enough, then that someone is a XENO LOVER AND MUST BE CLEANSED AND PURGED.
There is only the Emperor and its chosen weapons. I think I'd like an inquisitor of sorts attached to my platoon eventually. BECAUSE XENOS MUST BE PURGED.

“Do something!” she whispered, trying to keep her sight on all of them at once.

Dibs on the first new tank! Preferably some sort of Leman Russ variant, but a Hellhound'd be great too.

"Why would you even want one? The Imperial Infatryman's Uplifting Primer (Damocles Gulf, XIX Edition) clearly states that they are prone to malfunction and that they require quite a lot of concentrated firepower to have any hope of killing a fully armored guardsman."

Don't count chickens before said chickens hatch. S'no telling how much will still be standing after this fight, after all. Someone might have tricksies, and adwarf did insinuate the Tau can win this >_>

The other side can always win, you guys just have to prove smarter, luckier, and stronger than them. I'm here to do your actions for you, roll the dice, and create a fun game/story/campaign for you guys. Not to ensure that you'll win in the end, where would be the fun in that :) No matter what you'll have a chance to win you just have to command/play well enough to achieve that goal or at the very least survive.
