Definitely PTW. I have no idea what's going on, as I have zero familiarity with the WH40k rules, but it should be neat watching.

Incidentally, given that that the map's up, can we also get a list of visible enemy units or somethin'?

Not going to claim anything, though. Howevermuch tempting it is to lay claim to the basilisk and start dropping shots on heavy enemy concentrations (though I don't even know if that's a good idea :P).

E: Incidentally, what are you using to run this thing, program wise? I could swear I've seen whatever it is that you're using to generate that map, but I've forgotten what it's called :-\

I'm happy to take the basilisk, and if noone has any objections I will begin to bombard those gun emplacements.

what gun emplacement? I only see a broadside and a few  infantry squads?

Anyways, I shall hold position, infantry will focus fire on any tau that stray within range, as will the heavy bolter. If the boradside enters our range, focus fire on it unless the tau are within rapid fire range

... actually, yeah, give me the squad with the sniper. I want to shoot the fancy gubbins off the squad leader thingies, if you can aim that specifically. Or the broadside(?), whichever is more likely to actually kill something. Keep my dudes on the wall, though. The stuff that's not the sniper can, uh. Shoot whatever they're most likely to hit?

How detailed or generalized commands are we aiming for, here?

You can go as detailed as you want but I'll boil them down to fit the rules of the game (including the rules me and the tau commander made)

I'll take the command squad. Imma say that he is a follower of Gaunt's philsophy of being a cool motherfucker.

"Shit, its the fucking Tau! Tell the men to try to make it so its hard for them to engage us at range, and for His sake get that tank into the fight!"

Give orders, then get my men into the nearest thrench. Ask for a [insert 40k telescop thing here] so I can see the bastards.

Tank? You mean that Basilisk that will rain His holy retribution on our enemies? I don't see no tank...

well, according to World of Tanks, SPGs are just slow TD's with higher gun elevation

I'll take the squad with the Heavy Bolter Emplacement of 60 points.
We shall hold the line or die trying!

I say set up the Heavy Bolters and prepare for fire when in range.

I'll take 2nd Squad, 2nd Platoon. If split fire is allowed, have the bolter emplacement fire on that broadside and the men spray the Tau infantry. If it isn't.... hunker down and las that battlesuit until it pops like a tin can!

I will take command of platoon 1 squad 2

Orders:

Entrench in current position set up heavy bolter for suppressing fire and place sharp shooters in vantage points to pick off suppressed enemies. Also send one gunner out as a forward scout to tag targets for the emplacement.

Also can I suggest putting names next to who commands each squad.

Interested to see how this works

I would ask why fire can burn two men to death without getting hot enough to burn a book, but then I read "INEXTINGUISHABLE RUNNING KAMIKAZE RADIOACTIVE FLAMING ZOMBIE" and realized that logic, reason, and physics are all occupied with crying in the corner right now.
