Yep, it seems to be a pretty hard foe, but not insurmountable. It has a CR of 12, and no resistances or immunities. Here's my plan. We gather a horde of combat scrolls, and when the Kolyarut tracks us down, we paralyse him and bombard him with damage spells until he dies.
Although this isn't something I would advocate, being my zealotous self.

I figure I could easily be deceived, and my character tends to be a little vengeful once something comes after him. I'm sure it could hypothetically happen.
Am I the mastermind of the plan to affront the plane of Law, while also being the paladin?
