I managed to break the ribs open, cut out the heart, and put the new one in on my first try. I got an A++, even though the lungs were flopping around on the floor...

That is the other surgeon's job... for Surgeon Simulator 2013 2!

I don't think it's possible to not get an A++

Because IRL surgery always gets an F.

I smashed a guys ribs open, dropped AT LEAST two metal objects in the cavity where his lungs used to be, then punched his heart out and put a new one in. I like this game.

Who needs lungs when you have scalpels?

I considered chiming in and proclaiming the wonders of another surgery game

But given that this is cartoony enough to be able to withstand... and the other is absolutely brutal and grewsome and almost as hard as... REAL surgery. I cannot really claim any really beats the other. (no not the medieval surgery game)

Which game is this?

Life and Death: Under the Knife and The Brain... The Brain being a game where if you play it long enough you start to become REALLY paranoid.

In fact 2013 is just a fun game.

The Brain is not very fun in that... if someone told me it was a horror. I'd buy it.

I think Life and Death: Under the Knife is Trauma Center: Under the Knife no idea for the other one though.

I saw this on RPS yesterday, don't believe I've laughed so hard in a long, long while.
In the comments, there was a link to another game made for the same jam and with a similar theme, Legitimate Business Simulator. Enjoy.

Life & Death games were DOS games I believe, might be able to find them on some DOS game site, maybe?

Trauma Center and Life & Death are completely different. Trauna Center and Trauma Team are arcadey with surgery elements, but anime plots, still fun though =p. Life & Death are more... simulatory.

No not talking about Trauma Center... Hmm maybe it is just called "Life and Death" and the second is "Life and Death: The Brain"
