Henry moves quietly to get in a general area behind the MADR, he does so with no problem.

Korina can't spray the MADR: she'd need two turns of moving to get into position, so she just moves in the room and uses Resistance!

Coralie flanks the MADR in her charge at her!

Coralie flicked the rat grease off her blade and shield, pausing for a moment to look about. No immediate threats.

"Well, that was fun, right? Lets take a look around...those rats probably came from somewhere..." She replied. In truth, her nerves were haywire and she felt oddly giddy. Such was the thrill of combat!

Action: Taking 20 if possible, on a Search roll of the basement rooms (+7 Search mod)

Looking for where the rats might have come from...

She sideways glanced at the diminutive sorceress.

"You best get your friend to a dok-tor, Ms. Korwina. We'll finish up here and make sure everythings secure. I think you're pretty much out of wizbang razmatazz today, right?" She inquired sweetly.

Tarzu half-stumbles into the room, and lets Lady Minsi have it. "My lady, this is why we don't go off on our own! You do know how very lucky you are to not have gotten yourself killed just now, right?!"

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

"Huzzah! The foe is slain! Let us loot and pillage." Minski thought about it for a minute. "Oh, wait... we're in a basement."

Conduct a Search roll anyway.

Near the small barred window stands a broken vial. A small puddle of a dark crimson liquid has stained the stone floor, which kind of gives an idea of whatever potent thing it was. Searching thoroughly the room, Coralie the Elf finds a hidden compartment behind a fake stone section. What lies behind it, and if it is trapped, has yet to be determined of course.
It is however located on the right side of the room, in the center of the wall in question and just a few meters away from the corpse of the MADR.
On the floor are the scattered and torn remains of cloth pieces and broken woods. A few mushy barrels have leaked since days now their precious alcoholic contents on the floor, which have evaporated and left behind small green fungi.
There's a cobweb on the upper left side of the cellar room, and a small loose stone is easily seen in the dead center of the room.
The small loose stone appears to be a mechanism of sorts.

"Well then. Go further, to assure ourselves that no more rats lurk? Or to leave now, to avoid distressing the owner of this place? Ether action seems acceptable to me. To what lengths do you wish to go my friends?"

Henry then keeled down next to the dead dire rat. Laying his hands on the belly of the dead mother rat. Feeling the baby rats within.

Coralie had almost been something of a magpie-collecting and picking up things as a habit, and typically losing them just as fast-even from a young age. It was a skill she had honed over literally decades. There were few trinkets or secrets that could evade her gaze, she was sure.

Thus, she thought the 'hidden' wall wasn't very well hidden upon seeing it-though it had been painted over, the stones didn't match quite right. Presumably the builder had erred in his calculations, even by a half inch, and just finished the placing without bothering to remake the adjustments. To her trained Elven eyes, it looked like an ugly jutting thumb.

"Looky what I found guys! I'm so smart! You think the owner knows about this? Whats behind it, I wonder?" She asked, pointing to it excitedly.

"Well then. Go further, to assure ourselves that no more rats lurk? Or to leave now, to avoid distressing the owner of this place? Ether action seems acceptable to me. To what lengths do you wish to go my friends?"

"I think we should open it, sure-someone had to have let the beasties out of the hole, right? I don't think the rats were that smart...so I'm guessing someone or something is down here. That said-we should probably be being paid more, right? The job has gotten more complicated!

Also, Sir, what are you doing to poor dead rat monster?"

Henry, you realize two things actually.
The first is that it is highly possible for the baby rats within the mother's womb to survive, if taken out quickly. However there is probably at the very least a swarm of them within the bigger rat.
The second is that unless you'd be able to find another dire rat mother somewhere in the proximity, you would probably lose them all nevertheless within hours out in the cold.
