Wordlessly follow Korina if there's no one else in the basement. In which case I missed something.

"Your friend actually tamed one? That couldn't have been easy. She must have been the very best..."

Coralie then took Korinas offer and lead the group back up to the Inn, and hopefully payment.

Action: Back up the stairs!

"Like no one ever was," Korina agreed as she headed back up the stairs to speak with the innkeeper about rewards.

The Group leaves the cellar room and starts climbing the few stairs that will lead them back upstairs. Some are grievously injured by the rats, or by the traps, others are instead tired from the ordeal. As they reach upstairs, the Dwarf innkeeper is there with his perfectly white teeth smile.
"You got the big one too, didn't ya? Yer life saviors that's what you are! Is everything all right now down there? No fires or things like that right?"

Coralie nodded.

"All the rats down there are dead,  except for the baby one Sir Henry saved-and aside from a hefty cleaning bill on your end, there's no permanent damage."

She let pass a moment of silence, not sure if her friends wanted to reveal what they had found hidden beneath.

"All right then! Nothing broken down there I hope..." As the man says that, he fishes for a pouch on his belt, from which he takes out four golden coins for each of the adventurers.

Tarzu quietly takes the coins and limps off with a "Thank you. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll need to find the healer, this legs fucking hurts."

After he exits the inn, he'll inquire as to the nearest healer in town, and after any healing if that healer can't tell him what the vial contains, he'll see if there's a resident alchemist

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Henry takes the gold coins and puts them in his sack. Afterwards he turns back to the Innkeeper.

"It seems that our little group took some injuries in the work, all in the course of the job, but it does mean we may need to stay on for a few more days. Assuming my companions agree of course, I was wondering if you would be interested in my services to purify food spoiled by the recent troubles? Even if we were to move out today I could still purify some amount. I won't bother asking after the cheaper fair you might have storied down there, as I doubt it would be worth it to you to save. But if you happened to have stored any more expensive food or drink in your cellar, my rate is five gold pieces per cubic foot of food or eight gallons of drink."

((Psst. Dwarm and Serious. You can't both play Korina. I'm pretty sure Dwarm meant to say "Coralie" in his last post, but I'm getting them awfully mixed up.))

Korina took her gold and found a place to sit while her companions got everything sorted out.

Lady Minski also accepted her gold and sad down next to Korina. She slid off her iron-scale gauntlets and sat them on the table between them. Twiddling her now-bare thumbs, she leaned over to Korina without taking her eyes off Coralie. Shrinking her character portrait to compensate, she started whispering.

: "Pst. Psst. Is everybody mad at me now? I didn't mean to hurt anyone. This just happens all the time."

She looked down at her gauntlets, bloodied from the battle downstairs.

: "When I was a noble's daughter, I never had to learn to do anything because people would do everything for me. Maybe that was a bad idea, growing up like that."

Korina put a hand on Minski's shoulder. She wasn't exactly sure what to say. "...I'm sure she'll forgive you if you apologize to her. People make mistakes all the time; it's how we deal with them that makes us learn and grow and gain levels. For example, after that misadventure in the basement, I know now that I really should focus my energy on learning a spell that can target single enemies, so I can help out more in a fight. I couldn't really do much against the rats without endangering everyone else." She shrugged.

Feeling no one else was going to speak up, Coralie continued.

"Also, Mr. Innkeeper, we found sort of a secret door...with traps...in the back room. It had some strange things in it! Um, did you know about that?" She inquired, raising an eyebrow.

Tarzu moves to leave the scene.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The innkeeper then replies to Henry

"Well, that's all nice and all but I've already got a new shipment coming. The old stuff I'll throw away."

Korina sits down on a nearby stool, followed soon afterwards by Lady Minski.

The innkeeper stills for a moment at the words of Coralie, before bringing out a small lopsided smile.
"OF course I know about that...Now you didn't take anything from it, right? That would be stealing you know. I'd have to call the guards and all..."

sense motive checks (Showing them because someone did pass the innkeeper's bluff)

Henry, you feel rotten for having even dared to presume the innkeeper was a bad person. Those things are rightfully his and the fact someone even 'might' have stolen from him touches you deeply. He is such a kind dwarf!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Tarzu, you too believe that it might end up badly if the dwarf calls the guards. Those things were his after all.

Lady Minski, Oskar and Coralie: the dwarf is hiding something, the rotten bugger!

Korina, you don't particularly believe stealing from the dwarf would be bad, but the guards might not see it the same way. After all the stuff in there 'might' be his to begin with.

Coralie frowned.

Why was the Dwarf lying to them? They had just saved his rotten inn!

She took out her symbol of Fharlanghn from its place on her chest, and gestured with it mystically in the Dwarfs general direction, commanding it to unveil the truths of his spirit.

Action: Cast Detect Evil on the innkeeper!

((OOC: I'm no diplomat, so I'm not sure how to handle this :P ))
