The Town of TerenA bustling village in the outskirts of the peaceful plain of
Estia, the village possesses all the commodities of a typical village with little more than fifty families scattered around the general area, many are farmers or laborers who work in the farms, some have small shops which sell the bare essentials, and being a village on the main road to the capital,
Esselys it is fairly trafficked.
Our lovely group of adventurers has finally decided to take their first adventure,
(which as a form of tutorial, cannot be skipped, suffer through it)
and begins their voyage that might lead them to untold heights of wealth and power, just as well as to the deep and cold hands of death, with a mission.
Well, not actually a mission.
More of a chore actually.
The Inn of Teren, called
The Bloody Boar, is small but clean, kept so by an overly affectionate dwarf by the name of
Thordrek who enjoys a fine mug of ale between serving one to a paying customer.
You four have heard of a small problem the innkeeper has, and in exchange for keeping the entire things under wraps, you will be paid handsomely at the end of your mission. Of course you wanted to know more!
Thus Thordrek had his son move to the counter, while he brought you into the back of the inn, and from there to the trapdoor for the cellar.
"Well, I've got a bit of a problem ye see." He begins, licking his lips nervously, "Somethin' that has ta be kept quiet, ya understand me I suppose? Wouldn't want the bad publicity and all."
When talking to an Npc: Ask the questions you wish, consider it a sort of Dragon Age or whatever game thing: keep on asking and he'll answer, of course if someone angers the Npc with a sentence like (Bloody dwarf foul spawn of orcs!) or something like that, first I answer one more question each from the others, then have the 'insult' proceed. Remember: you are all responsible for what happens.
In the event of discording speech. (Let's say *right!* *LEFT!* and when democracy isn't an option (RUNNING FROM MAGMA!) the one with the highest Char is followed, then the one with the highest Int and finally the one with the highest Dex (The wittiest, the smartest and the fastest in order) of course this doesn't prevent a character with 9 of int from having a good idea, problem being convincing the others that you can in truth have good ideas. XD
There's no need to force-play a dunce, mind you! And even 'average' scores can have really interesting ideas or solutions, but no talking of metaphysics alright?
Good.
