Ps: Freeform, waiting your action.

as I'm waiting Oskar Kelskar and Coralie Katwyellan.

OK, finished D's character portrait. What do you think, dude? I'm not entirely certain of it as it's about 40% 'homemade' (pretty much the entire face excluding the eyes, and the ears - while a holdover from Rae/Ria/Bael - are also my own) as opposed to my usual 5 to 10% editing to make things flow together smoothly when I do these... ^^^;

I suppose it's all right :P Honestly, good work though. I think it could maybe use some touching up, but such things are the artists purview, after all.

OK. What parts do you want touched up?

Any chance I could wait-list on this if one of the others drops out? Or am I out of luck entirely?

Ok, I'm warning you guys right now if the rat starts getting close to me I'm retreating back up the stairs, though hopefully still retaining a LOS to the rat so I can still plink at him

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

You may waitlist. The reason I didn't put it up is because in D&D death is relative. >.>

Alrighty. Do I generate a character now or just watch and wait until someone drops out to do so?

As said, I'm no artist to judge what needs it. :P

If you think you could improve it, you can. It was just you seemed dissatisfied somewhat.

Well, maybe not, but it is supposed to be representative of your character. Doesn't matter what I think. :P Is there anything you particularly want changed?

Hey Shade, does Fritz always act on my action? Or can I have him delay his action so he can go later in the turn order?

For practical purposes you both have the same initiative. (I'd rather like it if it stayed like that, though if you really want to send him afterwards...I'll probably kill him somehow with a trap. Yes. That would do nicely)
Joking, if you want to have him go after you, tell me an initiative score lower than yours and it becomes that of the wolf. So I don't have to be rolling yet one more dice for him.

((I'm pretty sure rat swarms don't get attacks of opportunity. And even if they did, last I checked they didn't roll to hit.))

The problem was that the swarm occupied the 'choke point' of the door. It was more you plowing through their occupied square than they having an attack of opportunity. (And they were blinded and stunned, so they wouldn't have rolled it in any circumstance)

Yes, I was about to say something along the line of "Gm can interpret the situation however he likes". Common sense should always prevail over strict ruling.  :P

I mean, shield bash doesn't normally stun/blind either but in this case, it can be argued Coralies shield bash and Henrys fire (or a combination thereof) broke up the swarms coherency a bit, enough to disrupt them enough for that.
