Something seems to take a hold of you, and your leg streches out, stepping into the blackness. You feel a jolt, a thrill of fear. You're going to fall!

As you put your foot down, there's a soft tone, and ripples of purple trace the form of a invisible bridge. You take another tenative step, and orange lines race along the flagstones.

There's a rainbow of flashing color as you sprint across, feeling almost like you're flying. The bridge isn't there, as far as your eyes tell you, but you can hear, can feel the stones under your feet.

Then the colors vanish, and you're alone in the black. You look around, you tap your foot, but nothing shows. It's just you, in an empty void.

You're blind.

The floor seems to continue... But you still can't see.

You inch forward in the blackness, not trusting yourself with full steps, shuffling softly. The bridge, once a bright rainbow of glittering lines, is only black on black, darkness in the darkness.

You take a tenative step forward...





You pitch forward, dropping like a stone. You didn't fall, you were grabbed, by chitinous legs. You open your mouth to scream.

You fail to scream.

You sit bolt upright in bed, head pounding, heart pounding, chest heaving.Judging from the feel of the sun on your skin, it's early morning already, but it's not quite time for school... You think. It's hard to see your alarm clock.

>Take a walk

You should walk around, clam your nerves. You stand up and feel your way towards the light switch.
