Spoiler (click to show/hide)

No, please, no H-scene, for the love of god.

I still think ending up with Hiki was a bad mistake, but less on that. The last thing we need to do is go bacon-tits on his ass and cling to him for support about every little problem. I say we don't go wake the poor guy up, but if he notices we are bothered, tell him then.

Daisy isn't that weak, gaiz.

>Go see Hiki

You flip the light switch... nothing seems to happen.

You blink a couple times in confusion. You can't see anything. It's very dark in here. You wriggle the light switch.

You can't see anything.

try to find your way to the window by touch. if its still late at night there should be a moon out even if theres a power outage or anything... if its morning there should be a sun.

Also feel free to start freaking out a little. if we're blind... then lets hope this is a dream within a dream sort of deal. being blind and mute would suck just a little less than being blind and deaf... only a little.

Fight back tears and try to feel your way outside. You need someone, anyone, just to get you somewhere for help.

Strike a match. Then set the bed on fire.

>Hallway?

It's really dark in the hallway.

Someone's opened their door. It's the girl across the hall... Geeze, you've not talked to her for so long, you've forgotten her name.

"Hey." She says. You guess she has better dark vision than you. Or you're blind and she's not.

"There's a power outage." Well that answers one question. And raises a few more. "I guess the emergency power systems are down too."

You nod, even though you doubt she can see you very well, even if her night vision is better than yours. You're adjusting slightly to the dark, enough to see some faint lines of light from a window. Odd, how all the window shutters are closed...

Think about going to see hiki (not for love, but just to see him) before deciding it a bad idea. Ask about the time.

Well, maybe this course of action is a bit too obvious, but...

Open a window for the sake of getting some light in here.

>Ask about the time

You would, but even if your neighbor (Miyuki? That was her name, yeah,) could speak sign, and with only one arm there's not much reason for her to, it's too dark to sign anything.

>Open window.

You open the third-floor window.

Light floods into the hallway. Indeed, Miyuki stands nearby, her left... er, stump... tapping slightly on her side. Some of the other students open their doors as well, blinking.

The sun is rising. Something about it fills you with energy. This is going to be a good day. You smile and almost forget they can't hear you breathe "Good morning!" as you turn around and spread your arms. You kind of feel like a goddess. [Let there be light!] you sign, and there was light. And you saw it was good. And you decreed that nothing bad would ever happen if there's enough light.

There's a thump on the window behind you. Miyuki screams, throwing her hand to her mouth. You turn around.

The SUICIDE MAN is there.
