from the way I read it the noose isn't around daisys neck yet. its just there.. behind her dangling against her. urging. suggesting. tempting.

You retrieve your torch and hold it under the Noose.

The Noose fails to light on fire. However, it does begin to writhe and screech horribly. The closer you shove the torch, the hotter the flames grow, and the louder the Noose screeches.

Finally, it shoots upward into the blackness above. The screaming stops as abruptly as it began.

There is only darkness around you.

where did this torch come from? did the counsellor arm us with this somehow? or is it just... that things come and go in dreams.

Try recalling happy feelings, like holding hands with Hiki. Feed the torch positive things?
