You tap him on the shoulder and catch his hand as he turns around.

[Hiki.]

[Oh, it's you. Hello Daisy.] He gets a stupid, sappy grin on his face.

[Hello.] You keep your answers curt, trying to tell him to apologize without outright doing so.

He seems to get the picture. [I'm sorry about last night. I was wrong and a little scared. And I'm not usually good with pretty women, especially not if I'm alone with them.] You're suddenly glad he can't see you blushing. Maeda looks over and rolls his eyes irritably. You blush even harder and flip him off. Tinnitus is NOT a valid reason to be an asshole.

[I-] You start, but think better of it. [You are forgiven.] You say imperiously. There we go. You are a gracious goddess, bestowing upon the cute blind guy your mercy. That is totally what's happening here.

Hiki smiles. [Thank you.] He gets a weird look on his face, like he's trying to look confused but isn't very good at it. [Why do you smell like... what is that?]

As quickly as it rose, your heart drops, suddenly growing very cold. [What do you mean?]

[Wait I didn't mean it like that-] You twist his hand. "-Ey ey! Ow! Geeze, Daisy, lay off it, I didn't mean it!" At least he has the good sense not to blurt what he said to the whole class. You scan but the only one seeming to pay any attention is Rin. She's staring at you with her deep green eyes. You kind of like her eyes- they're the only way you can understand what she's thinking. Unless she blurts out something strange, of course.

"Why do you smell like a fox?" she asks tactlessly. Your glare goes unnoticed. She's obviously looking for an answer here. Of course, she can't speak sign, so how do you tell her?

Don't bring the fox, though, it's by appointment only.] You nod, before realizing how fruitless it is. [As well, I also kind of want to show you a little business that's fairly popular with my other circles of friends. Have you heard of the Shanghai?]

The offer is tempting, but it sounds suspiciously like a date. Then again, would that be so bad?
