"The soldiers will have weaponry and armor. We want to take it as minimally damaged as possible - which requires them not leaving - and although it's certain it'll be roughened up during the fight if a fight there is, we can melt the useless pieces, hand the bad ones to our undead, and keep the rest for ourselves. Some of the mages don't even have melee weapons or armor - and they can come in handy in a scrap, magic or no. Crushing all those supplies in a collapse would be a dreadful waste of resources."

we could bar the doors and windows with stone instead then continuosly animate golems and zombies inside?

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

"We should at least do a minimum of scouting, see what's going on there if we can. Though I highly doubt the rabble in Norvak will really be a threat to us - we should at least try to prevent any runners from leaving and warning other towns or trying to request aide"

"I suppose rushing them and taking them by surprise is an option, but I agree with Sholan, lets scout first once we get to Norvak. When we know the location and prepared ourselves, golems and bigger undead will form our vanguard, while Sholan and salamanders will flank us and make sure we have no stragglers and people trying to escape. Now, lets move."

Roland hesitated, then spoke up again.

"Although I am still in favor of simply rushing them, I can see the sense in scouting and encircling them before the assault, however much I may think it won't be of any use. I can go to the guards and try to get some information out of them while you people scout - I won't try to pass myself off as a mage, simply as a traveling mercenary. I know the ways of the business, the impersonation should be convincing... And unlike Patrizio, if they realize I'm working against them I won't be limited to magic in my defense.

I can handle a group of trained fighters on my own - for a while, anyway. If another one of the mages goes and is caught, it might turn very messy very quickly for him, unless some of you know how to channel with a sword through the shoulder."

"That is an unnecessary risk. It will be better if we simply capture one of theirs, as per your earlier suggestion. I agree with your previous idea, talking is pointless. We will prepare ourselves and pounce on them. I'd rather not risk anyone."

Roland cocked his head and stared at Patrizio, looking puzzled. After a few seconds of silence, he barked a quick laugh and spoke in good humor.

"Five minutes ago, you wished to go talk to them even though it would be a waste of time. Now that no extraneous time is to be spent and that you have a better fit mage voluntary for the job, it is a pointless risk and nothing is to be gained out of it. I do not understand how you think, Patrizio. Very well. No talking. We scout, we watch, and we storm the town."

Patrizio only raised an eyebrow.

"There is such thing as taking advice, Roland. Sholan had the better idea and I went with that."

"Sending a man to talk won't compromise the scouting - in fact, it will even improve it. Many more things can be seen from the inside than from the outside... But very well, Patrizio. To be quite honest, I do not care either for scouting or for talking - I merely wished to compromise. Let us stop wasting time here, and go on the offensive."

Known Locations:

Suomi has been abandoned. Its people fled in the dead of winter to any nearby town.

Norvak A town with an unknown population. It seems to be primarily focused on cattle.  It is defended by a small fort garrisoned by veterans of the King's Army. It is affiliated with Welnshire.
Confirmed as having the Plague. Currently under Quarantine.

Vis Valdi is a looted husk of a town.

The Tower, is ramshackle and old. It possesses few amenities currently. Your best guess is its still an unknown location.

Note, all resources/items are placed in the Tower Stocks unless declared otherwise.

Events:
---
Patrizio, Flint, Sholan, Roland
[4+3] It is a simple matter to cause some impure iron to embrace the ends of the quarterstaff, to give it heft and weight when it strikes.
[3+1] Flint, you have an abundance of local stone to draw upon, and while your spellwork is not the most elegant, before long another golem joins your ranks.
+1 Stone Golem (Small)

[5] Practicing with your blood magic goes well Roland, but alas no greater insights are reached for now.

[?,?] Coming within sight of Norvak with your modest force of undead hidden behind, you find yourself with enough time to scout the forces ahead of you before you need make a decision about attacking. From what you can see there are scores of men-at-arms, they look disciplined and somewhat professional.  They are supported by small companies of bowmen. Their commander is an imposing man from a distance, and you can see he carries many weapons. He walks among his men with purpose in his stride.

Within Norvak, you see nothing. No signs of life whatsoever.
---
Jerik
[?] On a whim you track down one of those Dark Minions that are lurking around the Tower up to who knows what. You order it to stand near your Soulless, and you find that the chill aura makes him decidely uncomfortable. You further test it with a slave and find the same thing. Further testing reveals that most tasks are disrupted by the presence of your Soulless.

To join the assault on Norvak you would need to travel to catch up to your fellows, as you declined to join them when they set out.
---
Helfd
[?]Your gravehaunt merely stares at you. Perhaps it has no answers to give.
Out of ideas you begin travelling back to the Tower. Evidence of predators is abundant but you are not bothered on your journey. You will arrive after another turn of travel. Then you will need to travel onwards to the wizard's dwelling.
---
Detani, Jim
[1,4] Practice goes poorly for now, but as nothing interesting has happened, you continue on with it.

With the abundance of corpses locally, you raise an even dozen, and watch the east for signs of your brethren from the tower. Signs in abundance, as you believe you saw them approaching.
+12 Zombies

---
Events in Near Proximity:
---
Summer begins to bloom across the local area.
Further Catacomb exploration is Dangerous.
Note, There is now a map in the OP.

---
Six of you stand ready to assault the quarantine force stationed around Norvak. Some of you may wish to hang back, and wait. Others may wish to attack immediately.
Majority rules. Do you attack now? Detani, Jim, Sholan, Flint, Roland and Patrizio? This question falls to you!

Attempt to catch up to the rest of the Cabal, and assist in the assault.

Right then gentlemen, as we agreed. We look in detail, surround them. And make sure there are no runners. Sholan, you will know what to do.

To ensure that assault is in our favour, we take time to look in detail at the enemy, take good position and encircle them to make sure there are no escapes. [DELAY]

Detani lowered the spyglass. Her fellow magi hid themselves well, but she knew where to look for them. They brought a suitable force of undead to fight the guards. However, it would not be a bad idea to support them. She yelled down from the rooftop of their inn to Jim.

"Jim, I have a plan! The magi are approaching, a battle beginning... But let's not stand idle."
Sneak up to the guard wall with zombies and void magic at the ready. When the rest of the magi assault, break the walls and kill the guards with undead and void magic attacks, leaving them in a killing field between the rest of the magi and Jim/Detani's forces.

Sure thing. Let's just make sure to let the others attack first... I'd much rather have the guards distracted with the huge army outside than our small little force trapped inside.

Go with Detani and our undead as discreetly as possible towards the outer wall. Don't go too close if it looks like there's a good chance of being seen. When at the wall, wait for the others to attack and then join in with assisting Detani in the assault. Undead go first and keep at least 4 guarding Detani and I at all times.
