Known Locations:
-----------------
Suomi is a small town, that doesnt have a particular allegiance. It exports lumber and is nominally protected by its own militia. The people there are somewhat friendly to newcomers, and you're sure there's work to be had there.

The Tower, is ramshackle and old. It possesses few amenities currently.
-----------------
Note, all resources/items are placed in the Tower Stocks unless declared otherwise.

Sholan
[1] Watching the others squabble over the Library, you decide your time will be better spent elsewhere. [2+2] Aided by your staff and your understanding of Blood magic, you invoke your dark powers upon these fresh corpse. It twitches, it stirs, it rears up and knocks the door off the storage room you're in. It thrashes about wildly until you get the hang of commanding it.
Now if only you had a saddle...
---
Maxine, Helfd, Jerik
[6,3,1] Maxine manages to sneak into the Library and bar the door, preventing any access by the others.
[2] Unfortunately thanks to the effort of holding the others out of the library, Maxine has failed at making any progress advancing to Adept.
[3] Helfd instead travels to Suomi intent on purchasing some axes and carpentry tools. The price is..reasonable you suppose. It will cost you 3 Loot Tokens, to acquire the axes you would need. The carpentry tools are a mere 2 Loot tokens. Bows and arrows would be available in abundance, but the shipment coming to this town was lost. As such they are at a premium, since everyone is trying to cash in on the troubles in the capital.
[2] Jerik, your experimentation does not bear fruition. Perhaps if you had a dedicated space in which to do such things..But alas, there were interruptions, and your magic was not strong enough this time.
---
Samuel
[4] You continue to train. The interesting thing about shadow fighting is that your opponent is always very skilled, but easily beaten. You cannot acquire skills without actually doing something. In this case, fighting.
---
Roland
[5] You spend a lot of time carefully surveying the gloves, without touching them. The runes look incredibly familiar..It takes you some time to realize but they seem to take the shape of runes of Earth Magic. Well, these probably aren't threatening to take up then. You pick them up, half expecting a trap, or the skeleton to lunge at you or something. But nothing happens. You slide the gloves on and can feel the faint energy within them.
(Shaper's Gloves acquired)

---
Detani
[2] Unfortunately, there is no food going for cheap around here. Since most of the cheap food has been bought up to be shipped to the capital. If you'd known about this sooner, you might have been able to make quite a profit. As it is, you could outbid a few merchants and eke out a small profit.
[4] The local citizenry is somewhat lacking in news of the nearby areas. The merchants and their drivers however are more than happy to talk to you. It would seem that no, there are no signs of banditry or a broken down wagon. Of course in this heavy forest it would be reasonably easy to hide any crime.
..Hey why are you asking this? You get the sense the wagon drivers might have misconstrued your intent.

Patrizio.
[4] You travel back to the round clearing, and scour the location with your earth magic, melding your senses with the ground itself, seeing if there is anything amiss. The lingering taint of Death magic still permeates the earth but it doesnt bother you in the slightest. As near as you can tell, theres no stone or anything here. You pulled out the books, which was all that was of value here. Unless you've missed something.

Go out into the forest, start exploring the forests for anything interesting, but stick to the roads and be cautious.

Make an attempt at the library, if that fails. Head into town to see what information I can find in the realm of locating any of the 'supplies' spoken of in the diary among the townsfolk. Make no effort to obtain them or look suspicious about them, just make note of them. If none are found, just look for contacts among the townsfolk (ie Alchemists or Morticians)

Keep the door barred. Continue studying.

If this fails, swipe some books and continue studying.
If it succeeds, slide some unused books to anyone who wants them.

Sholan wandered the tower content with his creation. He felt the need to name it, but there was time for that later. He did, however, keep the former lizard with him in the meantime. He contemplated if there was a way to ride the beast, it would surely make travel much faster and less draining. He immediately thought of the Ruins mentioned in the Diary - and just as quickly pushed the thought from his mind. 'In due time', he thought to himself. In the near future he knew he needed to make better use of the library that was recently stocked. The writings made it seem as the the library was of a rather decent status when the writer had been the tower's occupant. Sholan was sure much of the collection may have been lost, stolen or destroyed in the time it was stored away but it was surely better than trial and error would prove to be.

There were the random musings of the other occupants about the town nearby. Sholan had wondered if there were useful artisans in the town beyond the normal country ferrier. Alchemists of any sort, perhaps those whose sole position was the preparation of the dead. Sholan thought maybe he could pose as someone looking for an apprenticeship with either, or at least someone they could contract to obtain items and goods they required.

'So much to do', he thought. Indeed there was...

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

(But it lines up so neatly... I can't change that, it'll get rid of what little magic there is in this world of ours. I might be being overdramatic, but hey.)

While my first attempt to do some more intereting things in the town have failed, I did not relent. It was time to strongarm our way there or die in that tower - others had little to no initiative towards rebuilding the cabal. Sholan a'Valti, as he called himself, seemed like a talented man. Maybe he would help.

"Hey there. I was wondering, if you would not help me with a small businesss venture in the town. It would be us two and couple of skeletons. If everything goes good, we can infiltrate the town. What do you think?"

Whether Sholan agrees or not, dress 5 skeletons in some rags ans to cover them up and go back to town to that warehouse. Alternatively, try to find the man who slipped me in the note.

"To what effect would this infiltration mean?", Sholan was skeptical to say the least. Waltzing into town with a handful of walking corpses might go very poorly for us all if it failed. "Would the rewards of this venture even outweigh the possible consequences of failure?"

""Well, lets say I had a run in with the local underground, and they seemed to be rather unfriendly to the ones trying to muscle in on them. I thought it woud be good if we could replace them. We can ditch the bones if you feel confident we could do some damage with magic. We are the sort of people who don't amke an impression on the first glance, it should be good."
