Helfd was grinding his teeth, audibly. Whoever dared to look directly at him could watch the teeth grinding over each other through the open wound in his face.

Take Flint with you, i will look into the Wizard.

Detani heads out into the streets to investigate the plague. From alchemists to random guys on the street, try to find out how the plague started, how it works, and so on. Try to find out if there's any mages in the town, or at least see where the magical elements are.

Jim shrugged and walked back to his "lab". He was sort of hoping for some feedback on his plan but it didn't matter, he would go along with it any way. Jim then walked out to the common room and addressed the people gathered there.

If you would all please listen for a moment, I have good news and bad news. My treatment seems to have worked successfully on one of the patients and while the patient is passed out from the exertion of the treatment, I believe in time there will be a full recovery. Unfortunately, the other patient did not respond well and appears to have passed away.

Jim is respectfully silent for a moment as he allows that to sink in with the crowd.

In the interest of keeping as many of my patients alive during treatment, I have a favor to ask of you all. Please go out into the streets and bring me back some deceased bodies. I know this may sound strange but having extra plague victims to observe might help me to learn better treatment methods that will increase the survival rate of you all in addition to helping me learn more about how the plague actually works. Hopefully when I'm done treating you all, I can then go out and share my findings with others to help prevent an outbreak like this ever occurring again.

Jim waits to hear the response of the crowd and then brings the live body downstairs and rests it on a bed somewhere. Finally, he brings in two more plague victims upstairs and repeats his previous action of swapping the plague and vitality in the subjects. He also tries pushing some more of the plague into the already dead body to see if there are any more changes.

Suomi has been abandoned. Its people fled in the dead of winter to any nearby town.

Norvak A town with an unknown population. It seems to be primarily focused on cattle.  It is defended by a small fort garrisoned by veterans of the King's Army. It is affiliated with Welnshire.
Confirmed as having the Plague.

Vis Valdi is a looted husk of a town.

The Tower, is ramshackle and old. It possesses few amenities currently. Your best guess is its still an unknown location.

The two of you, and your accompanying forces herd half of the slaves to the mines. You task your new slaves with mining, and before long the mine is filled with the sounds of labor. You surmise that while the trickle of resources will not be much, it is a start.

[5-3] The town has been picked over rather well by the forces of the Cabal. You find no wagons, no metal. Nothing but the remains of the village, and the dozens of bodies your fellows left behind.
[3+1-2=2] Your attempt to summon forth a stone warhorse fails when a sharp piercing pain erupts in your chest. You spend the next few hours curled up and gasping for breath.

The pain does not subside easily, you take shelter in the ruins of Vis Valdi for now.
(You took ...5 actions. Searching the town, summoning, travel, more magic, and then exploratory travel. Dont do that again. Not that the stabbing pain is related, I just want you to note that there is a 2 action limit)

[5+3] You easily raise a new zombified salamander. It does little to alleviate the hole in your heart that Sally left.
Your dark minions seem to have been practicing with their assigned zombies. One seems on the cusp of improvement, the others seem to be plodding forward slowly. None of them can think of anything they might need right this moment.

The zombies return with 4 Supplies.

[8 + 4] You wrangle up some of the remaining zombies, and the slaves. Carting supplies outside you begin construction of the Slave Pens just adjacent to the tower, still within the Palisade constructed earlier. The building quickly takes shape under your guidance and before long you have constructed Crude Slave Pens. They aren't very good, but at least they'll keep the Cabal's new slaves contained. You post a few zombies to guard the pens anyways. Just in case.

Helfd
[10]The forest air is crisp and clean. A light breeze fills the air as you stalk determinedly through the forest. With no real information as to the whereabouts of this wizard you decide to start your search at Suomi. He has to be somewhere near here, if the residents of Suomi knew of him. You scour the nearby forest for signs of some sort and luck is with you. You find a well worn but very well hidden path that has been traveled by only one person recently. This may be what you're looking for. But the trail is long and has many offshoots you must check. It will take more time to fully check out this lead.

Detani, Jim
Detani departs from the inn, taking to the streets to find some answers. Answers which are not forthcoming. Barely anyone is out on the street, those who are seem incredibly fearful and take a lot of time moving cautiously through the streets to avoid the many dead. Until they see you coming at which point they bolt and scurry back to whatever holes they crawled out of. There are a few apothecaries, or herbalists, you can tell since those buildings have been ransacked heavily.

You return to the inn, and there is a chill in the air here. Something feels amiss.

Jim, you get some help moving the live body downstairs. Several of the other people are very enthusiastic about your success, even though someone had to die to save that person.
[3] Everyone is quite congratulatory. They seem at least somewhat accepting of your need for the bodies of the dead, and several of them head out to collect dead bodies. Someone presses a mug of something warm into your hand. It smells of apples and you smile and take a drink.
Too late the spirit voices that accompany you cry out a warning. Your last sight before you slip into blackness is of that healthy looking fellow holding a frilly handkerchief to his mouth.

You awaken to find the inn full of the cold lifeless bodies of nearly everyone who joined you to seek a cure. Two are missing. The man you cured, and the healthy looking man.
Sitting up your head swims. Taking a moment to steady yourself you see that someone scrawled a message in blood on the wall opposite you. It reads quite simply "Do Not Interfere."

Shouldnt my warhorse roll be a [2+1] thus giving me... a stone pony?

summon stone warhorse, if succesfull head back to the tower otherwise try again.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

Roland stood at the entrance of the mine, staring at the slaves getting to work with a satisfied eye. He glanced at Patrizio.

"We should set up something preventing them from leaving... Though just leaving the zombies at the entrance with the instructions of killing any leaving slaves ought to cut it. And, uh... Do you know if there are still goblins down there? We should probably figure that out before we leave the place unsupervised."

Waking up startled and with a pounding headache, Jim groggily removed his metal mask and massaged his forehead until the pain subsided at which point he put the mask back on. He then made a mental note to never take food or drink from another person again and also to never remove his mask in the presence of others. The success of his experiments must have lowered his guard but generally those weren't things he did anyway. Jim hated taking off his mask and letting people see his face, although in honesty he didn't know why.

Suddenly aware of his surroundings Jim looked at the numerous dead bodies strewn about the room as well as the bloody writing on the wall. He was quiet for a moment before bursting out into laughter that filled the empty building with its sound and disrupted the disturbing silence that surrounded him. Someone was so worried about his interference that they drugged him and murdered everyone in the room except the person they were actually concerned about. To Jim, that was just funny. He was relieved though. Things could have turned out much worse and he was grateful that for whatever reason, the person didn't see fit to kill him in his sleep, even if he would have done so to them. Granted the poison might have been meant to kill him or maybe they infected him with something but if they had, then why bother writing the bloody message on the wall?

Shrugging to himself, Jim set about raising all the corpses nearby. There was obviously someone dangerous in the town but he couldn't very easily leave with all those guards outside anyway. Might as well raise some bodies for now. "Do Not Interfere" was sort of vague. Don't interfere with the plague or the town... He supposed the first in which case no harm done by taking over whatever structures the soldiers are using nearby but that would be a goal for later.

"Yes, the guard at the front entrance is sufficient. I will scan the underground under the mine, see if there are any caverns or tunnels where there might be hiding. We don't want the mine ripped apart once we leave. Also, I recall you mentioning some points of interests in passing. Where are they?"

Scan the space underneath the mine and the mining tunnels in search of goblins and/or interesting elements.

I know injuries have consequences, however my ribs usually cancel my action not negate my skill bonus.
Want i want is the effect to be shown so i know what it did that turn.

Roland lifted an eyebrow, but his expression remained otherwise neutral.

"You don't remember? You're the one who found the map... There are two in the forest, one to the west and one to the side. There was no indication of what they were, although they were probably connected to dark magic somehow."

Set the ghouls to patrol the entrance. Any human who is not a necromancer found nearby should be eaten, but they are not to enter the mine under any circumstances.
